I feel if these were shown slowly throughout the second half the series and I would be fine with it more.

Kiba's upgrade seems kinda limited in comparison...

Also, when has she had a hard fight since Sasori (which was, what, over a year ago in plot? It would've been still in an early stage) or the first Sasuke encounter? The assassination, she almost killed Sasuke without it, and when the kunai'ing failed due to hesitation, backup showed up at once. Pain, she smashed a summon and focused on healing.

I can't think of when it'd have been a good idea to use it, Sakura has not gotten into any tough fights for some time.

I did like Hinata's Lion Fist. Nice little shoutout to the really good anime fight.

I think the lion fist indicates her raw ninjutsu-offense power is better than Neji's, but her defense and pure hth skill is still less.

Kiba and Sai came out looking terrible in this. Kiba is still doing the same shit he was doing in part 1.. no innovation or creativity. I'm done with that character. He's Tenten level to me now.

InoShikaCho and Shino were great. I've always been disappointed with the lack of techs shown by Shino... he should be way more versatile and useful that what has been shown to date.

InoShikaCho and Shino were great. I've always been disappointed with the lack of techs shown by Shino... he should be way more versatile and useful that what has been shown to date.

I think the limitation is you have to actually breed and train the bugs, so newer techniques are harder.

Ranking: Welp, Sakura got a giant summon too. So I say S-.

All the others with new jutsu- Shino and Kiba and Hinata are all at B-. Should we move them up to B? Any worth more than B?

Also, the InoShikaCho, they didn't show new moves, but they keep kicking so much butt I feel like a boost might suit them too.

Highlight of the chapter = Sasuke and Naruto sizing each other. Oh yeah the summons too.

Where are they right now? Ino's been getting feats throughout this war, while Shikamaru was flinging Chouji around with his Kagemane. That's ridiculous.

Glad to see Sakura has access to the most useful(if not all that offensively powerful) summon. But the kid summons are adorable. I hope they have bantering like their parents.

Except instead of this new slug being like the other one she should have an off the wall type personality. I want this slug to be a blood knight and I shall be disappointed when it doesn't happen.

I don't think Shikamaru was so much flinging as providing a tether to direct Choji's course while Choji provided the momentum. So Ino targets, Choji provides power, and Shikamaru precisely directs where Choji hits.
