I'd be more impressed with Sakura's showing if she didn't also need to be saved by the boys within the same chapter it happened.

Kishi is a dumb *****.

does Naruto still have clones in other locations?

I can't imagine he does since he was exhausted and needed Sakura's help, but i don't recall him ever getting that "rush" that happens when his clones are dispersed.

Your mother likes dog dick.

sure, but does Naruto still have clones in field?

Ok, so consensus seems to be, wait til next chapter ^^

Just guessing but...you've been drinking, haven't you?

So does anyone know why people are saying the only strong female characters(based on personality) in Naruto are Temari and Konan? I mean I kinda get the former but the latter basically just wanted to support her male buddies for all time without much else to offer.

I say this not as a Sakura fan but as a Chiyo fan. Chiyo is so much cooler than Konan but she's always forgotten. :T

Mei has a strong personality as well. So does Karui.

The only real females with weak personalities are Ino, Hinata, Kurenai, and on occasions involving Sasuke, Sakura. To me anyway. But two of those four people also happen to be in my top favorite Kunoichi.

Also what about Kin, Karui, Samui, and Ten-Ten? They have strong personalities

Does the strength of their personality have to add up with their usefulness?

Konan did flip off Tobi though.

I like Konan a lot, but she does fall into the Kishi-trap category of female characters whose existence is basically just plot exposition for some male character (Pein), much like Hinata in that vein.

Women who fall into the "strong female" category in the context of "characters who are characters first and women second" would be, imo: Temari, Tayuya, Tsunade, Anko, Ten-Ten, Mei, and Chiyo. I'm not counting super obscure side-characters who've only had like 3 lines in the entire series.

I'm on the fence with Ten-Ten, though. She was basically Neji's cheerleader throughout the Chuunin Exams.

Spammable Kirin's, Kamui-like technique, a shit ton of chakra, and the Rinnegan.

My friend has such a Villain Sue.

Still better than Madara.

Madara lived in an era where people were fighting constantly and explicitly went through a lot of effort to get Hashirama's cells. Even then he'd been unable to accomplish his goals without Obito's help.

Him having an immortal Edo Tensei was just a decent amount of luck on his part lol.

Whereas this guy comes from an era of peace but is apparently just that good. He also killed the shit out of a canon character, which is a no no for me.

Were I you, I'd be more on the fence with Ten-Ten because she has basically no distinguishing character traits at all. Other than sucking Neji's chode I mean.

I am struggling to think of anything notable about her character.

Zabuza's sword is a better example of a strong female character than Ten-Ten.

I'd like to point out that "fighting constantly" is not the same as a Shinobi Great War.

I wager that the losses and strategy where much greater in the Great Wars than the clan-fighting that happened before the villages were formed.

Basically, I assert that a shinobi that matured during a Great Shinobi war is generally better than a shinobi that lived through the tribal ninja age.

Basically, I assert the opposite of the culture of this thread: I don't think that the pre-village ninjas are better than the post-village ninjas.

I also think we are about to see why Hiruzen was called "God of Shinobi" and considered the strongest Hokage, this chapter or next. 🙂 I am strongly hoping that Sarutobi shows that smug bastard, Madara, that the level of ninja was vastly amped by a hokage that lived, fought, and lead a ninja village through 2 or 3 great shinobi wars. Then I want Minato to walk all over Madara and Tobi.
