So, Minato kinda has sage mode, but it's inferior to Jiraiya's, let alone Naruto's. Slow charging and not very good at it.

On this page, Kishimoto seeks to rationalize away my complaint about his introduction of senjutsu for Minato when that introduction creates massive plot holes. So Kishimoto is basically saying, here, "dadudemon, you're wrong. Suck my balls, mother****er."

I used to joke about this but it's happening so often, now, that I'm starting to believe he actually reads my posts on KMC about Naruto.

I think it's a case where he does the reveals for dramatic effect, but likes to put the explanations after. It's not reading, it's just minds thinking alike ^^

This chapter was so predictable in so many levels we could almost jump it and move forward into the progression of the plot, anybody can put everything together from the previous one.

It wasn't badly executed though, it just seemed too much "trying to explain stuff up" at once.

One of my grips about this manga is that Kishi wants to show everything.

I'm sure someone pointed this out earlier but Juudara hasn't been that impressive lately.

Hey look its Kishi trying to throw us off again. Well at least we might get to see Sasuke with a Rinnegan(probably not). Furthermore we find out that Minato's Sage Mode is completely unreliable which kind of justifies him not using it.

First Neji now Gai...sheesh Kishi must like killing off these guys.

I really hope this Sage Mode bit ends up being relevant somehow, at least that way the inclusion would feel vaguely justified even if sort of forced in the last minute.

How anti climatic is the reveal that dusty foot was kabuto....

Gai taking down Madara would be glorious. Or at least setting him up for Lee to finish him.

hope fully lee and Gai both attack madara with the gates. and they call it some type of twin beasts attacks

I'd definitely be okay with this.

I imagine the next chapter Gai will get his licks in with his red aura, before Madara smacks him back and remarks how those gates are a nice trick but he's encountered something just like it before an how if that's all he's got then he better quit.

Gai will then push his body to the limits and everyone will freak cause he's not supposed to go that far, but he'll have the upper hand. Later on Madara will decide to grow into a giant Jubi and start squeezing him.

I really hope Gai survives. He's like my favorite character. 🙁

I also wanna see the eighth gate in action though, I just hope that they can steal Madara's life force or something to give it back to Gai...

i like Gai too, but if he opens that 8th gate... and survives, I'm gonna call the highest order of bullshit.

I would be perfectly happy if Gai survived somehow. I'd be really glad to see Sakura heal him with some new awesome jutsu, or maybe Naruto go sage mode and heal him with Rinne tensei, and it wouldn't have to kill Naruto since Konan implied it only kills you if you don't have enough chakra to use it.

I have to say I called the whole Kabuto thing though. Kishi's making these chapters too predictable.

Maybe Sakura can stick her hand inside Gai's chest and start forcibly squeezing his heart.

So Gai is now officially > alive Hashirama and alive Madara while also being much faster than Minato and Tobirama. Meh.

iirc, edo tensei bodies aren't full strength, so no, Gai isn't above them.

with the fate of the world at stake, all those fodder ninja can make for some good edos for oro and kabuto to use to keep 8-gate gai in the game indefinitely.

more importantly, oro needs to cancel his existing edo tensei and start over again cause other than hiruzen the other hokage are next to useless as they are
