Spoiler:
And I still don't get Black Zetsu. He's so different from Hogoromo and Hamura in terms of power, it's ridiculous... Is him being her child supposed to be symbolic rather than literal?

I have a bunch of questions now. How did Madara give Nagato both of his Rinnegan if he blinded one of them with Izanagi? Why would Madara think he created Black Zetsu if he was approached by him prior to his creation? How does the whole Kaguya/Shinju relationship work?

She seems to be crazy.

I doubt he was born naturally. He already said he was her will.

The blindness seems to apply only to the Sharingan, so the Rinnegan probably overcame the blindness. Or him acquiring Hagoromo's chakra had something to do with it.
Black Zetsu never revealed himself to Madara though.

Kaguya had likely sealed the Shinju within herself. Then she transformed into the Ten-Tails and tried to take back Hagoromo's and Hamura's chakra. She lost, and was sealed. Question is, was she sealed within Hagoromo, or was she sealed into the moon right away?
Either way, whatever we've known up until now about the wars and the Shinju, just got thrown out the window.

Damn, Kaguya could have easily killed Naruto and Sasuke when she snuck up behind them. They barely reacted.

Madara is a ****ing weirdo. "If I eat part of Hashirama's shoulder, I can puke it up later and gain ultimate power!" I don't even know what this about anymore.

That said, the bit about ninja being a story created by black zetsu is pretty cool.

Are we sure it is Hashirama's shoulder? It was referred to as 'Hashirama's meat'. vin

Lol yeah. Kaguya isn't the Big Bad, it's Black Zetsu.

Well, my theory of Naruto talking Madara down got shot to sh!t, but if he manages to outtalk a several millennia old demon goddess down, I am going to flip Kishi he biggest bird ever.

Mistakenly posted twice? Or couldn't edit?

Damn computer crapped out on me very weirdly. I tried to edit, and instead it went to quote and shut off on me.

I don't think she was trying to kill them. Judging from her own words, I think she is trying to absorb them too. it'd make a twisted kind of sense, since they are the only ones now capable of sealing her.

Why did she need the Chakra of Hogoromo and Hamura, when she clearly already activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi prior to becoming the Juubi? Why did she become the Juubi in the first place?

Re-reading this chapter, it almost makes it sound like Kaguya created the Shinju, rather than her gaining it's power from it.

Black Zetsu says that all Chakra originated with her, and that the Shinju was a manifestation of her will to regain the Chakra of her sons...

That could very well be possible. Black Zetsu just threw everything the readers knew about Hagoromo and the Shinju up to this point right out the door.

Though I'm still curious as to how Kaguya had kids in the first place.

Not sure about Hagoromo and Hamura but chances are Zetsu's dad founded Kumogakure.

Zetsu is Kishi's fallback option when he needs to advance the plot.

I have a lot of questions, the largest one being this: Did Kaguya create the Juubi to go kill her children before doing the Infinite Tsukuyomi and being sealed?

Because that doesn't exactly make sense, considering she would have lost most of her power, and that she should have been able to do it herself.

So apparently even in death the sharingan can learn techniques?........ Wtf

No, Madara could already use Izanagi. He set it in his eye with a "timer" before it goes off, so to speak.

So Izanagi is a reality warper pretty much?

I'm not sure I understand why you're asking those questions. Kaguya obviously wants a monopoly on chakra, and an army. She wouldn't be trying to absorb the chakras of Naruto & Sasuke if that weren't the case.
I don't know why she created the Juubi instead of just taking them on herself. Maybe she didn't want to reveal herself?

Eh, unless Hagoromo's info is incorrect, the Shinju and its chakra fruit existed before Kaguya came into power. What Hagoromo was definitely wrong about were the motivations of the Juubi.

The Juubi was an incarnation of the Tree and her will. As for Kaguya creating the Juubi, we've already seen that the Juubi can exist independently from the Shinju, as long as the requisite pieces are there (Gedo Mazou + chakra).
This could be some form of a holy trinity.

Dunno. Black Zetsu's revelations kinda screw up the timeline. We don't know what all he tampered with when he altered the Tablet. Plus Zetsu said that Kaguya was sealed along with the Juubi. Hagoromo states that his sons were born after the sealing. Yet Kaguya obviously knows about her grandsons.

At best, I see it as this: Kaguya eats fruit -> uses the Infinite Tsukuyomi to create her army -> gives birth to sons -> is around for the creation of Ninshuu -> angry at others using chakra -> creates and becomes the Ten-Tails -> Ten Tails is defeated -> Black Zetsu is created -> Ten Tails is sealed -> Bijuu created from the chakra of the Juubi -> successor chosen -> Moon created -> Black Zetsu sets his plan into motion ->...

Well thats an ass pull if i ever seen one

Zetsu specifically references an incident where Itachi did something similar.

How Madara's dead body managed to mold the chakra needed for Izanagi is anyone's guess.

Not really. There's a fine line in giving Sasuke Amaterasu postmortem and bringing yourself back to life with a timed Izanagi.
