Madara vs Guy is up and nabbing the title for perhaps the worst animated Naruto fight of all time.

They just showed Evening Elephant. It didn't look bad. 8 Gates doesn't look as cool as I'd thought it would though.

Well, Naruto decided to use Kurama's chakra the first time he saw Shin's Mangekyo, so there's that, but yeah, Naruto & Sasuke were clearly not operating at full capacity when they fought Shin's first clone.

'Father'/original for S/S- (managed to briefly incapacitate both Naruto & Sasuke), first clone for A/A+, and the clone army, no idea?

You're right, I was pleasantly surprised. It's odd though, everything is animated well in the episode except for Guy, who looks absolutely horrifically terrible.

They were all shown with the Mangekyo Sharingan though.

What was wrong with how Guy was animated? Or are you referring to his design?

Although Sasuke does say that their Sharingans were not fully developed in the last chapter, so maybe not all had the Mangekyo.

Lots of Guy's movements were still images, those that weren't were lower frame rate, he was drawn sloppily, and the special effects of E.E were amateur-ish.

The other characters were all done better for some reason.

To quote Narutopedia a bit:

"Shin's clones are able to telekinetically manipulate weapons after marking them with a special seal. The first clone encountered used this ability to disassemble his giant chain-shuriken to create a multi-directional surprise attack against Naruto, Chōchō, and Sarada.[8] Other clones are shown to wield large red,[9] three-pronged kunai."

So, the first one does seem more impressive and use weapons more. I'd think of putting him at maybe A- or B+, while the other clones didn't use weaponry to near the same extent. They do have sharingan, but I'm hesitant to even put them in the Bs... when Sarada started throwing rock around, they went down fast.

For anyone who hasn't seen it or cares enough to look, Night Gai has been animated.

Well I don't think its bad, certainly a lot better than Afternoon Tiger.

Was better in the manga.

Plus I keep thinking Gai went SS and used Kaoi-Ken X20.

Ironically, Himawari was aiming to hit Boruto, who was behind Naruto.

Boruto uses recently developed tech which resemble miniature scrolls that can store any ninjutsu (clones, elemental releases, etc.) to use a lot of various ninjutsu. Naruto catches him cheating at the Chuunin exams and DQ's his ass.

He also apparently has a 'Vanishing Rasengan' that disappears and then reappears right before hitting the target.

Momoshiki's right red hand-eye can absorb chakra/jutsus, and he uses it to absorb a lot of jutsus, and the 5 elements.

Kinshiki gets immobilized by the Kages, after which Momoshiki uses his hand-eye to turn Kinshiki into a chakra fruit that he eats. He becomes even more powerful, gains an actual Rinnegan on his forehead (and his hand eyes turn purple and look like regular Rinnegan) and he looks like CS2 Kidomaru (spider-web dude who nearly killed Neji).

Oh, and Sasuke is as fast and strong as Kurama mode Naruto. They fight pretty well together against Kin-Momoshiki.

Kin-Momoshiki is only beaten by the Father-Son Kamehameha Ultra Big Ball Rasengan.

👆 Looks like the Red Rinnegan is clearly the inferior product. It would be interesting if that's actually the eye we see Indra with in that photo, though it's probably not.

In other news, does this open up the possibility of the Shinju being some dead Otsutsuki? Also, why is there another Shinju in these clips lol?
