Incorrect. Pain, himself, said Jiraiya could have beaten him had he known of his abilities. Pain knew of at least some of his abilities before the fight...wasn't very fair, but that's how it happened.

Man. I miss the good old days of Naruto when everyone was moderately equal in fighting power.
Would of been better if they progressed at a steady rate instead of god like villains showing up and main characters getting insane power ups with out much effort or explanation. Though I guess it's not much of a problem since Naruto will be finished in a few years.

There's also a big difference in HM Jiraiya and Regular Jiraiya's power. And Jiraiya wasn't HM when he went against 4-tails. And Oro was not at full power when he fought 4-tails and survived. There is also a difference in power between HM Jiraiya and Pein. So 6-tails shouldn't be a complete ownage.

Well I think I can tell a bit of what he's saying with my (minimal) japanese skills, and it seems like he's saying something like "the prize is here." Anyway Pein has had expressions, he's gone wide-eyed and if i'm not mistaken sometimes sweated.

but it isnt because pain is WEAKER than jiraya, its just that if jiraya were to flee and target his ORIGINAL body which is frail and in a robot kinda thing, it wud be easy to kill pain{maybe}. pain has still shown power and sheer range of abilities greater than any other character in naruto{even all the sharingan powers combined}

Your logic is fundementally flawed.
You think all the other bodies are just going to sit around while Jiraiya seraches for the original body? Also, how is Jiraiya going to figure out where Pain's real body is? He certainly doesn't have something like the Byakugan or Rinnegan. Do you think the original body is completely helpless? Jiraiya didn't figure his "thing" out until after it was too late to fight back. Since Jiraiya can be considered a genius, he would probably have known exactly how to take all the bodies on while also planning a way to find the Orignal Pain. He could have used the "one mind" thing to his advantage.
