Use sharingain on Pein, lmao.
Something similar to what I was thinking, but I had no basis for that thought.
Byakugan is superior to Sharingan, right? So why is sharingan more useful? Would a Sharingan genjutsu work on a Byakugan user? One step further, would Sharingan genjutsu or other Sharingan eye techniques work on Pain's Rinnegan? It would appear that the Rinnegan is similar to the Byakugan in that it sees chakra quite clearly. However, is it virtually all encompassing like Byakugan or is it regular human field of vision? (I know he can use the six bodies to set his field of vision to better than 100% coverage...I'm referring to just one body at a time.

It's a waste of time using Sharingun genjutsu on a Byakugan user. Althought Sharingun allows the user to clearly see moves of the opponents quicker, but only when focused on them. On the other hand, Byakugan has a near 360 degree sight with a slight blind spot. So, you judge. I still think Byakugan is superior.

Originally posted by The Redthey byakugan isn't superior as the Sharingan is immune to genjutsu that affects sight. i'm sure that the byakugan and sharingan would be affected by genjutsu that affects the other senses like the frog song genjutsu.

Originally posted by yungz22Being able to see chakra flow easily eliminates Genjutsu. If you know where the actual user of the genjutsu is, you only need to attack them. Obviously a near 360 vision plus being able to see chakra flows makes this quite easy.
the byakugan does not stop genjutsu all the byakugan does is highten the regular eyesight to a better level hence 360 degree vision, able to see chakra, and also able to see like 50 ft away.

Why not use the sharingun gengutsu on him?
i remember that one sharingan eye is for genjutsu and the other is for ninjutsu
i'm guessing Kakashi has the ninjutsu one, and that's what his dimension eye technique is

The Sharingan Jutsu could probably effect Pain, but only one body.
well if it only affects one body then it wouldn't really work at all would it?
another body would see past the genjutsu, and his sight would be relayed to the one trapped in the jutsu, and he can easily tell what's real from what's not
Originally posted by stickman618Or he could disconnect the chakra flow to said body, and then do it again dispelling the genjutsu.
