people keep forgetting that kirabi killed sasuke TWICE before going full 8-tails.

he pulled out a note pad and scribbled out a rhyme during their sword duel.... that's major.

also, suigetsu and juugo were non-factors (and karin, aside from reviving sasuke)

without some sort of deus ex machina (or power), the raikage should beat the breaks off of sasuke since he is focused on doing so, his brother kirabi was more into getting out of the villaige. 😬

^ i think that might have been a translation error, "deflect" might mean "dodge/avoid" number 8 (which kirabi calls himself) as we now know, raikage is hella fast.

sasuke can't deflect that charge technique, we saw what it did when it connects. if anything, it just tapped his legs making him spin. sasuke even said he could see him better in his more linear pattern....err untill he was raped.

that's true, but Karin did say that there was something different about Sasuke's chakra, saying that it was darker and colder than his level 2 curse mark form. that may play some kind of role in the fight.

Tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if Raikage gives Sasuke a sound beating and is then interrupted.

Well thats the best scenario i can think of. the worst would be Sasuke pulling out an all new never before seen Mangekyo Sharrigan attack thanks to his new Dark chakra and taking out the Raikage in one hit 😱

No, the worst would be taking him out in one hit WITHOUT using mangekyo. It will not be easy for Sasuke. The way this has been lead up too, it will likely be an intense, difficult fight no matter who wins.

Yeah but if there had been, say, years in between it would be a special occurrence. Kirabi has been in plenty of fights, if three, four out of a few hundred had his attack blocked, it would still be a huge surprise each time it happened.

Well we know he was at least able to block an attack from Kirabi's medium form, so at minimum he can do as well as Sasuke did.

The old guy is weak as hell but for all we know could have crazy jutsu since old guys like the third seem to know a lot of them. Or he could be capable of amping himself sort of like Choji. I think he is stronger than he appears. They mentioned him relying on his former glory so he at the very least used to be powerful, meaning he knows a lot of jutsu.

Danzou doesn't like getting involved personally but he wants Sasuke dead and already beat those two assassins like nothing so he's no weakling.

The girl, yeah girls don't have many feats in naruto. But who knows maybe Kishi's going to try something different this time. After the way he made Konan nothing I don't have much faith.

Might have but I thought the Mizukage stopped him from doing so but I could be wrong. I think he just choked him nearly to death.

When are we going to see some more Neji, Choji, Rock Lee and so on? They really haven't done anything, at all.

I'm tired of seeing Sasuke. I mean I use to like Sasuke, then he was just ruined for me. I'm tired of seeing Naruto, and Sakura, ***** and moan about Sasuke. Shit. At least Sakura is a girl, but Naruto still cries like a little *****. Grow a pair, and help everybody Sasuke 6 feet under. I mean how long did they even know each other for?

And the power ups. I was sick and tired with it when Bleach over did it, but now Naruto is doing it too. Christ....

I hope we get to see Kakashi more though. If every few moments, Naruto and Sasuke can bust out some "ULTRA SECRET SPECIAL JUSTU", at least give Kakashi, Neji and others a go at it.

I would like to see more of them as well but im not sure we will. The way naruto blew evryone off in the fight against Pain tells me that we wont be seeing them in any major fights anytime soon.

Pretty much just about 6 years. And even though they weren't friends long he was the first person to acknowledge Naruto's strength and Naruto is one of those people that get attached to people really fast.

But yea we do need to see more of the rest of Konoha fight. But there is nobody left for them to. Zetsu, Kisame, and Tobi is really it. Well half of Tobi at least. Team Hawk's probably about to get beaten down soon surrounded by samurai, and Kage.

maybe so, but maybe they'll get a shot at Zetsu. if not, Kishimoto could always give them a shot at Tobi.
