Well the flame sorta spread up Sasuke though and quickly. But it was aimed at Sasuke. The black flames didn't spread across the wall after all when Itachi used it so who knows.

For all we know, he could come up with 6 different techs, seeing as no limit has been explicitly stated. Unfortunately, pulling new moves out of one's ass is a recurring event. Sasuke shouldn't be able to though, seeing as he hasn't trained a lot with the MS.

Who even cares?

As far as I can tell MS moves don't even need training, they just happen.

That's odd because it is his brother's eye/s that give him his immortality.

Having huge chakra certainly allows one to PREVENT death by being powerful, but his "stubborn refusal to die" comes from his eye swap.

Who knows. Karin has only come into contact with the 8-Tails, so that may have influenced her words. Though it's possible she knows the chakra levels of the other beasts, or was using hyperbole.

It could mean that the Mangeykou will never run out of 'light', if you take the Itachi's words as they are in the Translation.

Though it is mostly speculation at this point, as we've not seen Tobi/Madara use the EMS in the present, he probably does not have the EMS anymore; that, or it is somehow sealed or in a similar state.

He needed Nagato's revival technique iirc, and he wanted to 'be complete' again (by using the Tailed beasts?) I hope that does not mean that he split his chakra or some splitting shit like that. Perhaps he desires his EMS that was 'sealed'.

The EMS DOES grant the user eternal life. That's part of the bargain.

It was stated on-panel in that chapter where they tell the story about Madara and the Uchiha clan, the part where he rips his brother's eyes and how he acquired the EMS. It's somewhere after the Sasuke/Itachi fight iirc.
