yeah, it was a translation error. chojiro just meant kisame is jinchuriki level, and with samahada he is simply too much to handle.

manga's out now, and for those interested, jiraya is fighting pein in that chameleon summon now.

I don't think either of those things were wrong so much as misinterpretations of the dialogue... early translations are usually very crude.

i just realized, Kisame's sword eats chakra, the bijuu are just pure chakra right? he can take 'em all on!!

yeah, that cerberus summon, the dog that splits is phukking hard on it's own. the bird summon that slams into the toad's shield has an additional ability to spam explosive eggs, so it's like fighting deidara.

jiraya should have a harder time though considering god realm is there, i guess kishi wanted to save his abilities for the konaha/naruto incident.

I really doubt that sword could eat a whole Biju. I mean if that were the case, then they are really overrated. And i'd have to wonder where the sword came from, exactly.
