Sharingan can be 'turned off' as well...I forget, has Ao turned off his Byakugan before? For all we know, the eye-patch may actually have some kind of special barrier...reminds me of Kenpachi?
Agreed. I hope it escalates into a Danzo vs. Ao fight. 1 sharingan vs. 1 byakugan. Winner takes the other eye.

I can't remember where I read it in the manga. I don't remember it showing up in the anime.But, the Sharingan has to be given, not taken.

He can just look through the blindfold with Byakugan or Sharingan anyway. 😆 So it's not like it would be any problem. Unless he decided to meet a Hyuuga who then sees he has a Byakugan, and tries to kill him because of it to keep the secrets of the clan.

No, pay close attention... he is saying he's going to replace his right eye (sharingan) with Ao's Byakugan. Clearly he has some sort of underlying issue that destroyed his first eye and is now doing the same to his replacement. That's why he needs Kabuto's help.
