Eh, why not... if they have to make filler, they might as well use it to expand on the jinchiruki.

I would have liked to see the mizukage junchiruki instead of that stupid guy who could control sanbi for instance.

if they are going to make us wait, at least they have the decency to treat us with jinchuuriki. i was worried they wouldn't show them off.

we'll get to see what the 6-tail slug thing can do, i'm stoked. mostly want to see han the 5-tails though.

Though, it doesn't really fit well. If I remember, by the time Sasuke was sent to get Kirabi, it was explicitly stated that only he and Naruto were left.

in the anime tobi said that there were 3 left

also sources say kishimoto wrote the filler so that might make it canon

I think I prefer the anime anyway. More filler dialogue and minor characters make it seem like a much more complete world.

Me too. Some of the fights are just friggin' awesome.

I know. I like how they turned in the original series, the extremely short and unsatisfying Sarutobi vs Orochimaru fight into one of the best in the series.

I'm betting they do great things with Naruto Vs. Pein.

saratobi vs orochimaru minus edo tensei (if that's what it's called) would have been shit.

there was also a plot hole when oro had saratobi dead to rights with the sword but chose to drop it to punch him in the face, leading to oro getting his neck grabbed by enma and by extension getting his arms sealed.

i like how they add scenes to the fights but i can't really be bothered with the filler, because even when i see the fights i'm like "whoa that character's awesome!!! too bad it's not canon so it doesn't really count" 🙁

Aside from Filler Hell, Naruto's got some of the best fillers in anime. Though Bleach's current filler arc isn't so bad either.

So, any theories on why Itachi's showed up? Right now, I think it's a genjutsu from Madara, because we see him doing something with his sharingan here but we never found out what:

I just figured he's trying to figure out if Danzo is using genjutsu or what not to not be killed. But I guess it could be possible for Madara to put Danzou in a genjutsu but I think it's Sasuke's doing. Mostly because Sasuke's staring at him in the eye, and Madara is looking at his arm.

Yeah, but Danzo has sharingan in his arm, so it's possible for Madara to make eye contact looking at his arm.

Yea that's mainly the reason I said it's possible. But the fact they are on his arm, and shouldn't really have sight or anything is why I don't think it is. But it would be kinda cool if it is Madara.

Picture looks to be legitimate. This 'Itachi' possibly is the real deal (via the whole sealing thing). Otherwise, it's a genjutsu, courtesy of Sasuke.

to bad I can't read Japanese.....I'd laugh if it's another Itachi fail-safe. Though his last one didn't work out so well.
