Sarutobi may have protected the village, but he didn't sacrifice himself until his fight against Oro. Then again, it's probably because nothing could challenge his power, but that still wouldn't make him as great a hero as Minato.

Also, we don't know what threats Minato got the village through as well. He was the hero of the Third War I think.

I agree on the Sarutobi section. Makes me wish Kishi had given us a Prime Sarutobi fight, instead of one where he was way past his prime.

Minato and Saru are way past Prime level if you ask me. Or are you defining Prime-level as being the level of Minato and Sarutobi at their Prime? That level doesn't even exist since we don't know how powerful they truly were, but he's the most powerful Kage we've seen in a fight. Probably could beat the Sarutobi that nearly defeated Orochimaru during the Chuunin exams.

Looks like the Karin part of the spoilers was apparently misunderstood. We aren't told or shown explicitly if she was from Konoha, just that she was present at the Chuunin exams. Her headband doesn't have the leaf symbol as well.

~ Madara wasn't kidding when he said he likes to stockpile eyes. What does he want with them anyway >__>? Izanagi?

Yeah, from the little that we see in that flashback, it looks most like the symbol for Kusagakure, but I don't think that is it either.

Probably because she wanted to attend the Chuunin exam? Orochimaru most likely picked her up after/during the Chuunin exam though.

(Or she heard of the stud (Sasuke) in Konoha and wanted to see him 😛)

Also, she is most likely going to die anyway, Kishi has a habit of showing us flashbacks of characters that are about to die.

I would like to see certain spin-offs more than the current one to be honest...
