I got the impression Naruto discovered some new danger hidden within Sasuke. Maybe a suicide move of some kind.

I don't picture her recovery time being all that like, though. She's Tsunade 🙂 And now they have healbot Karin on their side too.

Chakra exhausting put her out, but now she's back young-looking again so she should be back to making chakra to recover at a good clip too.

I guess taking care of Ao was more important? He was their tracker, so without him following would be difficult.

His eye was sealed by the protection jutsu though.

Also Danzo did get a lot of distance in that time and... heck, maybe they did try, notice the trail vanished (due to him being dead), and gave up.

I dunno if the other thing is an upgrade per-say, just something that makes him dangerous, possibly to himself as well as his foe. Perhaps the craziness that's been showing, that he'd die to kill at this point.

Can he? We know the Mizukage can't, but that doesn't mean he can. I don't think that's the case- being a fail safe, it might require returning to the village to get it off.

And Danzo also stayed in one spot for a long time. With Madara fighting Torune and Fuu and with Danzo fighting Sasuke.

Yes, but all the time Ao was possessed, they were moving. The trail was probably quite lost by that point.

And you'd think they'd be more curious as to why Danzo's chakra disappeared.

Ao wouldn't be locked on while he was possessed, so he might not have been close enough to regain the lock on and tell what was happening.

By the time they caught up enough to regain a lock, it might've all been over.

I think it's reasonable for things to have happened as they did.

raikage's voice in the anime sucks, he sounds like oro from street fighter III third strike when he should sound more like heihachi from tekken or some other burly type guy

Hating him more because he received another upgrade is perfectly understandable, but it wasn't the reason you used earlier.

Kirabi is a legitimately lousy rapper, though 🙂

you know, this is just weird, but i think i like the story in bleaches last couple chapters more than narutos

Naruto's next power-up = creating his own kekkai genkai combining wind and water to create super special kekkai genkai move. That will look like this http://www.mangafox.com/manga/naruto/v37/c337/15.html

Hm, that does bring up a question: Do all combined-element kekkei genkai users have to learn their elements first, or do they get natural talent in them?

Hence while there will be a training, and him getting a new element that will block Sasuke's fire (water) since his Fuuton beats Sasuke's natural Raiton. Then he'll combined Water with Rasengan to make a Suiton Rasengan to go with his Fuuton Rasengan. And then the final step will be combining them. Which will end in a hurricane rasengan. Besides it fits with the name Shippuden. 😆

Didn't Haku use his ice when he was very young before ever even being trained? I thought he did but I can't remember need to check that out.

Yea, I think you're right. So maybe kekkei genkai people can innately use their elements at least a little to start with. Which'd make Naruto being able to have one pretty unlikely (especially since pops doesn't).

Hm... add in a step: Go to Kabutomaru and see what he can do about kekkei genkai imprinting ala Danzo and Yamato 🙂
