Comments on Psycho Gundam's extrapolated spoilers:
the uzumaki clan and the senju clan were both the heads of the land of fire and of the wirlpool respectivly, and those two clans were powerful somewhat equally since they share a common ancestor (imo rikkudou's "senju" son).

-Some Senju may have married in to the Uzumaki in their early days. Also, while a powerful clan, they may or may not have been in charge.

On a related note, Tsunade and Naruto are distantly related (though we don't know how distantly, Mito and Kushina could've been close or quite distant), both being Uzumaki clan descendants.

the reason kushina was the jinchuuriki was because her predecessor, another kunioichi named mito uzumaki, who get this....was married to the first hokage. kushina was also thus sort of arranged to marry a hokage herself. the people of her village were able to pacify the kyuubi, and kushina is the greatest of them, this is why they were great kinchuuriki.

-There isn't anything to indicate she was arranged to marry the Kage, Kushina seemed to think it was a funny coincidence to work out that way. She was sent to be a jinchuuriki but I think she could've married anyone. Also she and Mito both had special chakra that was good for holding biju, in addition to good knowledge of sealing jutsu.

Kushina and Mikoto Uchiha (Sasuke's mother) were friends, and that she was present at Naruto's birth.

They were friends but she wasn't present, a female ANBU with dark hair was.

Also, turns out the Fox was used by Hashirama to defeat Madara.

that would explain why the First Hokage won the fight against Madara even though he is (supposedly) immortal. maybe the attack from the kyuubi was also the reason why he's not as powerful now as he was before.

Well it was the Whirlpool Village lol. And Kushina and Mikoto being friends, and Kushina talking about Sasuke and Naruto being friends. 😆 Though I do wonder how different Naruto would've been if he never had the fox, and he knew, and was raised by his parents. Naruto would probably have ended up very much like Konohamaru was all arrogant and using his status as the son of Hokage, while Sasuke was actually nice and skilled when he was young. So they probably still would of hated each other.

The Hidden village in the land of Whirlpool is called the Hidden Eddy Village. Sure, it doesn't roll off the tongue in English, but I'm sure it does in Japanese. So, it makes sense that te Eddy Village would be in the land of Whirlpool, right?

Though that doesn't make sense as the Land of Fire's village is called Konoha or the Hidden Leaf Village. Fire doesn't seem logical for leaves, right?

Dumbest tagline i've ever heard at the end of this chapter. "Who's face is behind the mask?" Um... Madara's? Since you already told us who it was?

Maybe Madara will be unmasked?

The village name after all comes more from what it's physically hidden by.

Konoha by the forest, Eddies by currents and such.

I like the implication that Hashirama stole the fox from him in mid-fight, winning because his biju control was superior even over Madara's.

Consider the fact the last good fight was between Ichigo and Grimmjow, and that T.Kubo has not made a decent fight since the Top three Espada were killed. Yeah, I doubt yet another fight between Ichigo and his annoying Doppelgänger will be anything but boring and a waste of time.

Then there's the fact that the place where Ichigo is training is an actual ripoff, unlike the diminutive similarity between Madara kidnapping Naruto as ransom for the Fox, and Voldemort trying to kill Harry Potter.

Or Hashirama managed to weaken Madara's concentration, and thus gained control over the Fox. srug
Either way, the Fox was the deciding factor in their battle, that much is clear IMO.

Well for a time Gaara was both the kazekage and a jinjiruki of his village...so the mold can be broken. I'm still wondering if Kushina is alive or not. We can presume she's dead but it still isn't confirmed. I would complain about Naruto being destined to control the fox and how he still has potential for yet another amp...but now I feel sorry for his loss.

On a side note, I want to know how every village can somehow subdue these tailed beasts so friggin conviniently. I mean the kyuubi is the most powerful force to date that we've seen in the Narutoverse(10 tails is just speculation) and its been made somebody's pet up to 5 times. Oh and by convinietly I mean the following:

"#1 Village Elder of varying village": There's a demon that we can use as a nuke but how do we catch it?

"#2 Village elder of varying village": I know! Lets **** up somebody's future with a seal that we somehow acquired through a previous generation and hope it works at no expense to us.

"#1 Village elder of varying village": I'm sure that plan can't go wrong!

There is diamond shape on Mito Uzumaki's head. Any chance that could be the same seal as the one Tsunade uses for her Creation Rebirth?
After all, the Uzumaki clan did specialize in sealing techniques, and Mito was Tsunade's grand-mother.

Anyway, I guess we know how Kushina died. The Fox was extracted from Kushina. Also, Naruto was born with the Whisker marks. For some reason, I thought the whisker marks were there due to the Fox sealed inside him.
