I liked the fact that it showed a not even fully powered Kyuubi having greater feats than full on 8-tails. That makes more sense than in the manga because Pain is supposed to be shocked by how powerful the 9-tails is (even more powerful than he expected, to paraphrase him in the manga). How is he supposed to be shocked after capturing x-number of tailed beasts? This is the 9-tails: a demon that, with one-swipe of it's arm, could create tsunamis. So, for me, it did better to show how powerful the 9-tails really is. In the manga, not so much.

Who the **** animated Kyuubi Naruto vs Pein... they turned the fight into a joke with moments like "Naruto hammers Pein in the ground like a nail... then Pein gives a speech with only his head visible". And wtf is up with all the goofy distorted faces Pein made.

You know what the animation most reminds me of? The CDI Zelda games, with the characters faces getting really fluid and distorted whenever the zoom changed.

Ouch. I'll admit that the animation looked horrible at times but is it necessary to go that far?

the fight does kinda reinforce my thoughts that nagato can make deva use more powers if he's the only path, it;s why he did all those other jutsu earlier that he hasn't shown since activating the other paths.

it's not canon but there is a precedent since again pein did use the rain techs and such.

The hammering part is the only part I didn't like. Other than that, I loved very bit.

i understand that its god realm and everything but this man's body should have been mush the way the anime made him take that kind of punishment

I would have been fine if it was only the 6-tails that distorted as it moved, because it's made of chakra and is supposed to be fluid. But human bodies simply do not move the way they had Pain move. He looked ridiculous.

That's just stylized animation. It happens in anime. Some use it, some don't.

It just happens the Naruto, all of a sudden, is using it.

I like it. It's very fun.

I think the worst was early in the fight he punches the ground and it looks awful.

Wait, I thought Naruto characters had almost human durability (with exceptions). How the flying frack did Pains head not explode from that pillar?

Plus the holes way too small.
