Has anyone noticed, that Naruto in a sense has always been stronger than Sasuke and less inclined to go all out. I think Naruto being portrayed as struggling, easily defeated, loser is hyporcrital since he's always had the power and the strength to be a one shot killer and a beast due to being the nine tails, he could have easly pwned the biggest ninjas in the world witht he proper training.
Sasuke was never at a gap between himself and Naruto, he's always been a frail glass honin strong guns, it basically takes on super powered hit to kill Sasuke and I know now that Sasuke won his fights against Naruto based on luck, PIS, and Naruto holding back for his boyfriend.
At VotE, he had Sasuke beat almost unconscious. Naruto had Sasuke pwned up against the wall and Sasuke almost lost consciouness. He could have easily taken that moment to break his arms and legs. He didn't because he's always held back by his compassion. When they clashed after the Danzo fight, there's no way Naruto would have seriously lost against an almost chakra-less, almost blind Sasuke. There's just no way. Naruto had had SM active just before showing up. He must have deactivated it once he got there. Again, holding back.
The difference is their ideology. Obviously, Naruto wants to save Sasuke. Sasuke just wants to kill Naruto. Naruto's goal requires that he isn't trying to kill him. Sasuke's goal doesn't put any limitations on Sasuke.
When they clashed after the Danzo fight, there's no way Naruto would have seriously lost against an almost chakra-less, almost blind Sasuke.
To be fair, Zetsu was present and he was poisoned.
Naruto had had SM active just before showing up. He must have deactivated it once he got there. Again, holding back.
It was a fairly quick charge, maybe it just ran out on the trip? Naruto didn't set up any clones after all.

I hate Kishimoto wants Sasuke to be like griffith more than someone like Vegeta or Raoh.

and his personality definitely makes it seem like he's overcompensating for some sort of depression or regret, of course i could be wrong because during the flash back of the fox attack we see that he was always like that anyway
but his inner self said it was weird for him to act that way 😕

Well, he's trained Lee for years, views Lee as a reflection of his young self, and Lee thinks the world of him. That doesn't speak much 'dark secret' to me to explain the really deep bond.

The inner self said he puts on the enthusiasm as an act to inspire Lee and that he's too old for it and he knows it, which fits with what we know.
