The Sound Four and Ino are students-who-are-taught-by-Orochimaru-and-Tsunade, but I wouldn't really call them 'apprentices' in the same sense that the host candidates or Sakura/Shizune were, if I can make that distinction. The Four might've had other teachers primarily, the only ones we know Orochimaru gave special attention to are Kimi, Sas, and such.

There is no significant distinction between Kimi and the others other than Kimi having a kekkei genkai that was desirable by Oro. The sound four and the sound five were Oro's fav pets/apprentices.
And, I don't remember the manga actually talking about Ino's medical training, but it's covered in the anime. In fact, it's not explained at all how Ino learned mendical ninjutsu in the manga over the TS...so is it possible that Kishi incorporated anime only stuff by accident?

The kekkei genkai may be why, but Kimimaro did enjoy significantly higher status and more individual treatment and training as a result.
The others were his personal bodyguard unit, so reasonably important, but we know nothing on how much hand Orochimaru personally took in their training aside from giving them seals, he could've given them over to other subordinates for much of their training, or stolen them from other clans.

You talk about this special training, but we don't have any evidence for any sort of training.
We can infer that Oro taught his sound four/five hand seals as they had to seal Sarutobi in.
The only person that we know of that got special traininig was Sasuke.
Also, we know Oro likes 12-year old boys as the sound for and Kimi were quite young when he took them under his wing.

Even sick and dying, Orochimaru and Kabuto seemed to express concern for him. On the flip side, he was treating the Sound Four as totally expendable (he also mentioned that Kimimaro will clean up whoever is no longer needed among them, aside from retrieving Sasuke).
It's rare for Orochimaru to not treat someone as utterly expendable, and the respect he recieved and care from Kabuto and Orochimaru did stand out.

It did...but Sasuke was definitely the only true apprentice of Oro's. Kabuto learned some seals out of necessity as his medical nin, but that was as close as it got. Sasuke truly inherited Oro's "apprentice" title.

And Orochimaru has enough jutsu knowledge to teach people ones a lot different than his normal ones. Sasuke didn't really use a lot of the snake jutsu until after their merge either, Orochimaru seemed to mostly teach him to use his lightning jutsu, genjutsu, genjutsu defense, and physical abilities, and we know there's a lot of hands-on training there.

Read the next page, he's talking about Kimimaru cleaning up any of the Four that are no longer needed (which is more clear in some other translations I've read, like the official Viz one).

And I'm a Sasuke fan and a KB hater. What would EMS do to a guy who has perfect control of his tailed beast, peak shinobi strength, agilty and endurance, a master swordsman + parasite that sucks all chakra and stamina from the opponent?
EMS is no where near Naruto's power I'll tell you that because Madara fought Shodai with the EMS and he got rapped by him. Naruto's got Sage Mode, Senjutsu, Shima and Fuma and Rikudou Mode powered by the nine tails chakra.
Sasuke is way out of his league, unless EMS has some sort of kyrptonite powers or makes him thanos level.
