Whoa, not just the Akatsuki, but the jinchuuriki, three former Kages (I wonder who the one we don't know is), and a variety of other ninja too?? Including Asuma and Dan? That is going to piss some people off.

Kinda surprised Kurotsuchi's in the close range brigade considering all she's shown is range so far.

Hm, I wonder what the other four Kage will be doing. Gaara being the general likely means he's *least* important... a showy role and one where he can use his sand's power, but giving orders to the most experienced subordinates who can pick up slack if need be.

Mist doesn't have many commanding officer positions compared to the others. Ao's the only one, and it's a joint command. Sand has 2, Leaf has two and a joint, Cloud/Samurai/Stone each have one.

Mifune in charge of spec ops division seems odd to me.

Bastard brought Chiyo back. Bastard. But yeah, Kabuto has really overpowered the Akatsuki's forces. Considering all these gais are immortal and all. I'm reminded of SSBB seeing all these old faces.

Maybe it's due to her dad being in charge of it? They might have better close range attacks. At the very least, she could be very helpful in combination with Neji and Hinata.

Well, A is leading the whole thing so he has a say in everything I'd imagine. One of them is probably in charge of keeping the two remaining Jinchuriki in place, which would likely be Mei or Tsunade. Onoki might be helping A make decisions what with his history with Madara and all.

Well, Leaf and Cloud have the most leverage due to the remaining hosts being in their possession and all, and Mist has the most connections with Akatsuki(that and their feudal lord was the most hesitant). Sand likely really only has one since Gaara is Commander General(odd choice, since he doesn't have war experience compared to the others)

Well, we really don't know much about his skills so it may make more sense in the future.

Actually, her teammates have all demonstrated more skill than her so not likely.

Is it just me, or was this one of the most epic/best chapters we've seen in a while?

a) Kabuto just raised a huge-ass number of dead characters. Goes way beyond 6.
He's packing some serious power as he can basically use them all as his own tools.

b) Naruto looks pretty bawss on the cover, with those six hovering Rasengan.

c) Madara can officially use all of Pain's abilities. Pretty ossum. Even if he doesn't have the 6 Paths, he's now far more powerful. Take that Blax. 😛

Prolly the previous Tsuchikage.
Going by the Kages we see summoned, it seems that he only summoned the last acting Kage of each of the 5 Villages.
We have the Yondaime Kazekage, and the Sandaime Raikage in that panel, in addition to one unknown Kage.
The Yondaime Mizukage was already summoned as part of the former Jinchuurikii group, while the last Kage is obviously not Minato. So that just leaves the previous Tsuchikage by virtue of elimination.

There are literally a vast number of resurrected ninjas. All those shadowy figures behind Kabuto & Madara are resurrected ninjas.
Asuma, Chiyo, Dan, Haku, Hanzo, Hizashi, Kimimaro, & Zabuza, are the only ones we can see. I seriously hope we get to see fights like Team 10 vs. Asuma, or Tsunade vs. Dan, or Neji vs. Hizashi and so on. Gonna be ossum.

Well, Darui is the General of the Mid Range Division, even though he should fit right into the Close/Mid Range Division. Then there's Chouji in the Long-Range Division. Meh. Shikamaru probably wanted him in that division.

Hm... it also occurs to me something could be thrown into the attack itself to cancel it out. Like a rasenshuriken or two from Naruto (while it might not have the destructive area, it's far more concentrated than most big-boom attacks, so might be good for blocking a bigger one).

Naruto characters probably can react to Super-sonic stuff.

IMO, it would cut through attacks, instead of blocking them. Though it remains to be seen how it would react with a Dust tech like that.

I understand most of the people resurrected, but what exactly Dan did that would merit a summon is beyond me.

Naruto could easily crush Sasuke, or overpower him, or overwhelm him since Kyuubi chakra > Sharigan. Last I checked, sharingan doesn't enhance statistics.

So Naruto is basically going to tank Sasuke's attacks and without any strategy or tatics.

Once Sasuke loses to Naruto, the manga will be over and Sasuke will lose all novelty and purpose because honestly Kishimoto was never a fan of his character to begin with and makes his development one sided as rain.

He helped Tsunade do something that helped along her medical program or some shit. And the guy wanted to be Hokage so he might have been a legitimate candidate before his death, even though we don't know the circumstances of it.

Possibly just a '**** You' to Tsunade, in addition to another psychological attack on her; Orochimaru did say he would resurrect Dan.
But he might have actually been a good ninja.
