does Kurenai have a kekkai genkai??

she has red eyes, but it's not sharingan

I doubt it. She's never stated to have one anyway that I recall.

its funny though, kishimoto has actually started taking ideas from the filler anime pre shippuden and started using them in the manga. for instance, kabuto used the hot ash technique in the sasuke retrieval arc that asuma uses in the manga, also, in the raiga ark, raiga uses the electricity in the storm to attack the team which is similar to sasuke's kirin technique.

Really? I never realized this. Course I guess it would have helped to watch the fillers to realize this.

some are ok, the one where naruto has to make shino aburame laugh is pretty funny.

and there is another episode where hinata develops a defense better than neji's rotation defense.

I heard about those because my ex watched them when I finally got her into Naruto a year ago.. The only filler episode I actually watched was Gai and Lee against those wooden dummies that were each other. I dunno they just never appealed to me. The only filler episode that was amusing was the whole Kakashi's mask one.

I just watched the latest Naruto movie.

I thought it was good.

I liked the part where Naruto naively agrees to make babies with the priestess at the end of the movie.

actually some of the fillers are pretty good, the raiga arc comes to mind. also, the time where hinata naruto and kiba go up against people hired by tsunade and naruto loses his money and all the ramen he has in his fridge and goes berserk. the lost star thing was nice too.

Eh I'm not that big on watching animes when I can read the manga. I prefer reading more than watching a television. Though I guess Naruto was one of the few animes I did really like to watch and will still watch I just can't really bring myself to watch the episodes after the Sasuke Retrieval Arc lol.

I just did some re-reading of some naruto manga and it looks like shikamaru might very well become a hokage before naruto.

Well, out of the current choices, besides Kakashi he seems like the best bet, yeah. Either him or some Hyuuga.

I really can't care about the history of Konoha all that much. I hope they don't keep this up for like ten chapters.

Finally confirmed that Itachi was a spy for Konoha.

I wonder if Sasuke was suppose to be killed also but Itachi didn't.

maybe itachi was a pacifist and left sasuke as one act of hope that sasuke wud gain the eyes in the fight against HIM{for which he trained sasuke from day 1 to HATE him} and reform the uchihas, perhaps having hope in the ability of humans to not wage war in the future and revival of the uchihas. or maybe he wanted either him or sasuke to finally kill madara {who contrary to initially held beleif did NOT take part in the slaughter of the uchiha at that night} although this brings up problems of its own. like for instance, then that WUDNT make madara itachi's teacher as he wudnt just kill the uchihas and wudnt work with a spy against the uchiha. also what does the kyuubi attack that yondaime prevent have anything to do with destruction of the uchihas? also, the first seems to be one super powerful dude, beating madara and stopping the kyuubi controlled by madara with his mukoton. also, madara said that only uchihas coud control the kyuubi when even the first could control tailed beats. blargh, i think kishimoto has made a story too complex for his own good and maybe comitting inconsistant paradoxes to fix it,

I was thinking maybe Sasuke being a child and having no part in the whole thing was one reason he could have been spared by Sarutobi since he couldn't really have any other say in their survival with hope for the future of the Uchiha through Sasuke. That or the fact that Itachi cared for his brother to much to kill. I still think Tobi is just trying to win Sasuke to his side. There has to be more to the story. Sarutobi still looked up to the First and Second as shown when he fought them yet he was against the Uchiha thing that they created.

he feels this way because durring a match of shogi, asuma asked shikamaru who most represents the king piece in real life, shikamaru wasn't sure at the time.

but during the hidan/kakuzu fight all the konoha ninja realized that the younger generation surpasses the previous one, and shikamaru then realized the king piece represented the next generation which must be protected at all costs, and he is the knight piece*wink*. the most important quality for a kage to possess is over protective feelings for the denizens of their village, especially it's women and children.

plus asuma himself thinks he should be the hokage eventualy.

Madara is either lieing or there are some plot holes which are annoying the hell out of me.
