naruto vs gaara was pretty badass, anyone can say what they want, but naruto really showed skill and power there
but im getting sick of alot of his crappy fights he can be a good fighter
but he has to use a shadow clone for rasengan thats lame as hell
and its starting to get old.....on top of all this hes still like the slowest character and on a side note i got sick of how 99% of the time he couldn't summon that giant frog
hes a moron he has speed and stamina along with power and the kyuubi he had alot of potential and has failed to take it by the reins
sasuke did have alot more giong for him i will admit that, naturally a good fighter, he has a demon seal, chidori, and sharingan, on top of being adored by everyone
people can say that all naruto has is the kyubbi, but what would sasuke be without his demon seal, sharingan, and a grudge

The only reason I liked the 2nd as much as I did is because it had Gaara and Shikamaru. And yea Lee does have the coolest fight scenes. Even his brief ones are better than nearly everybodies. Lee vs Gaara is probably still my favorite fight.

Yea Naruto just needs an actual fight though in Shippuden. Even his fight with Kakuzu had him just appear and then do his new technique it wasn't really a fight. I mean Sasuke has like what three nearly one right after the other? Naruto had a small fight against Oro, a small fight against Deidara along side Kakashi, and then the Kakuzu thing. Well unless you want to count him trying to fight Tobi but Tobi wasn't fighting back and it wasn't really Naruto that did anything worthwhile in that either. Okay so nobody did anything but still.

It's kind of a sad paradox. Shika's incredibly smart and so has a habit of making his enemies have to go all the way and use all of there power to win. He is the one guy who proves that you can be a good ninja even if you lack power. Yet, in the end it's his lack of power that costs him the match.
Yea it sucks. If he had better chakra control it would probably help also even if his chakra was weak. His lack of motivation is really all that's holding him back. If he had even the slightest motivation to get stronger he could probably take it to a whole lot of people.
On a completely different note. One would think Asuma would have been a lot stronger though being Sarutobi's son.
he is strong, he's got that sash from an elite ninja guild and a huge bounty on his head. asuma's personality was very similar to shikamaru's at his age and lasted till his early twenties. that must have retarded his progress as a shinobi somewhat.
in a flashback he said he was a slacker and a punk and he like ran away from the whole ninja thing for a while. then he got serious later on and became an elite wind natured taijutsu type ninja, he's a beast.
on a side note, in naruto ship. # 56 konahamaru reveals to naruto that asuma is the son of saratobi. naruto says that he is pumped up to learn that asuma's wind nature was due to his lineage from the 3rd hokage. like i said before, if naruto learns he is the fourth's son he is going to train his ass off becoming the best ninja ever.
i wanna ask. what the HELL ever happened to the hidden sound village that uro created? its never been shown and hasnt evenm been heard of since the chuunin arc.

I don't think Naruto could get any more headstrong about training though. He's got the rival in Sasuke he's always trying to surpass which is probably a greater motivator than learning he's the 4th's son.

I think having a rival is a bigger motivator than knowing who your father was though. He's already trying to get everybody to acknowledge him also. Knowing he's the fourth's son wouldn't really have any effect. He trains extremely hard to try and keep up with Sasuke. He's not going to be able to impress his father. He may think even more so that he has what it takes to be Hokage but I don't think he can really get much more into training than having a rival but that's me.
