Huh? What do you mean? Why would Itachi have to go for the kill? And how does Sasuke getting the MS suddenly make him more powerful than somebody who could have beaten him without really trying? Just because he was given the MS techniques doesn't make him as powerful either since somebody can have the same techniques but be weaker.
I think every clan was forgotten. Cause the Aburame Clan seems like it would be a perfect choice to beat the Uchiha with their whole chakra eating bugs. Also the Hyuuga being one of the strongest in Konoha and the best h2h fighters along with the Nara Clan using shadow imitation jutsu. Just those three clans should take out the Uchiha without even getting to the Hokage and other clans. I'm not really sure how they could win. Not when none of them even had a MS except for Itachi.

Kisame lives and there is still hope for Suigetsu/Kisame battle
But the bugs would make it hard for the Aburame to be caught in a genjutsu unaware. Plus they eat chakra so the sharingan would be hard to keep up. And three clans are going to be hard to genjutsu while fighting the Hyuuga, and worrying about Chakra being depleted. Also Hinata isn't a fighter so I doubt she's improved much. I mean really all she did in the Tobi fight was fail in finding him. Kiba was able to find him long before her and her see everywhere Byakugan. That she had on at the time. It's like when they need to work the Byakugan stops seeing everything. Like in the Sasuke Retrieval arc when Neji couldn't find Jirobu who was right there.

Itachi stated that the difference in their abilities lies within MS. Itachi would have died prematurely before accomplishing his task if it wasnt for MS. So i really beleive in Itachi when he says the deciding factor is MS.
