Probably because it had been established with Onoki- Dust uses a lot of chakra, and too much and you can't do it any more. Muu used just as much *and* then split his power in half.

Maybe given enough rest he'll be able to use it again.

😐

Nah, I mean SS3 hair. Raditz was piss-weak in comparison to the other upper tier DBZ characters. SS3 Goku on the other hand was up there, much like Madara is when it comes to Naruto.
In addition, SS3 > Raditz in terms of kewl.

Ergo, SS3 hair. I refuse to associate Madara with Raditz. uhuh

I dunno if he created Tobi. But his plan certainly was to be revived by the Rinnegan. Didn't happen as planned. Though there is something interesting to consider here. Madara might have planned to have been revived but I don't think he knows about the MEP at the moment.

Probably the former. Or rather, better be the former.

Sasuke had it first. 😛

In effect, yes. Super speed. But in practice, one is lulzly more useful than the other.

Lol at the butthurt.

Yes.

Agreed. Though we all know that Sasuke is going to get the Rinnegan somewhere down the road.

He did not have a fraction of the badassery that Madara has though. 😛

Precisely. Effect-wise, they're the same. That's where the similarities stop. 😛

Haha. I can't wait to see the shitstorm that will happen if Sasuke gets the Rinnegan or something even more powerful if Kishi is crazy enough.
Seriously though, Byakugan is ridiculously SMALL-TIEM nowadays, but you'd think Kishi would include it somehow.

and coincidentally, the manga is not as cool as it was when "small" things like the byakugan mattered.

this manga isn't about ninja anymore, well it tried to be loosely about shinobi but now it's full-on dbz 2.0

Byakugan doesn't seem to be in the eye chain. I guess sometimes there are just offshoot kekkei genkai.

Like the Bone one. It seems more on the senju side but I doubt has anything to do with being a sage 🙂

No need to put it in quotes. Byakugan is small.

Agreed.

The Byakugan is grouped with them though.

It could be. Of course, we'll never know since Kishi seems to be focusing solely on the Sharingan and now the Rinnegan when it comes to KG.

I predicted that ages ago.

Yet.

Results are all that matter.

People are already throwing shitstorms over Sasuke, who hasn't even done anything yet.

Now see there is a very good reason the Byakugan is small time: It does not matter in the slightest. No main character, villain or hero, has one. The Byakugan is so unimportant that if Kishi did focus on it, the story would get...well, quite sidetracked. So I support this. He just made the mistake of associating it with the sharingan early on.

Edit: Hmmm....People want the Byakugan or Hinata to matter more? mmm

A bit, but it's an offshoot. The Sharingan/Rinnegan is the eyes that carry the spirit of the Elder Brother.

It's quite probable that the Hyuuga is the cousin clan to the Uchiha, similar to how the Uzumaki is related to the Senju.

So did a number of others...?

It won't matter though, because Sasuke is unlikely to have long hair down the road when he becomes more badass. 😛

Sure, if you're not comparing them completely.

My thoughts exactly. It's only because he has associated it with the Sharingan & Rinnegan that I think he should have at least mentioned it.
Still, combat-wise, its abilities aren't as good as the 3 tomoe Sharingan.

Aura saved me the trouble of posting a proper reply.

I predicted it better.

He won't need it.

And I'm not.

Well...I guess there is still time. And yeah, that is true.

I prefer this to DBZ though. I agree it is certainly getting increasingly strange and overpowered. I wonder how much of this Kishi set up from the beginning. He has actually impressed me with his planning as of late.

No one really cares about it or remembers that. 😛

Then he won't qualify.

Then it's not really a proper comparison.

Meh, it matters little anyway.

Yeah, story and mythos wise, Naruto is much better, and he usually knows how to handle his story.

Why are people mad that Kishi's making his characters powerful.

Seriously saying it's not a manga about ninjas anymore makes no sense, the manga just used a ninja theme. Even from the beginning, when was the last time you've read about real ninjas walking on water, could control the elements, are having mystical eye powers.

Well that isn't really what bothers most. Madara's meteor mash is leagues above anything seen so far. He is only ranked slightly above Pain but he makes Nagato look like such a n00b. But, Kishi saves it by repeatedly stating that the threats are no longer what you'd call human. They are using the power of a god.

Really in Japan those're all over the place... the non-mystic assassin ninja is far more of a US thing.

Still, yea! We've had people fight with giant snakes, monkey kings who turn into adamantium rods, and so on since forever!

And we've also been told there's more powerful stuff for a long time. That whole Sage of Six Paths thing and all that, and some of the most powerful ninja we knew, Tobi, Pain, Orochimaru, etc. being focused on seeking more power.

Probably Hinata.

back then just having a kekkei genki meant you were top grade stock, but they were used creatively.

kishi's trying to outdo himself

i'll rest my case with this: the orochimaru vs sarutobi hiruzen fight.

Raditz would probably destroy all current Naruto characters baring Genjutsu techs.

Additionally, Madara's hair is black...like Raditz.

Madara has eyebrows, so it can't be SS3.

In other words, in everyway, it's more like Raditz and less like SS3. peaches

Truth.

Hashirama was supposed to be uber against EMS Madara. Better, in fact. Hashiram whooped ass so hardcore that he came away still full power...but got scratched or something (some cells got away).

For all the claims about ninjahood, where have you been since the first very arc? Really, this has been about action from the start, and finally after a few story arcs Naruto is actually getting good again.

The one glaring fault -which in my opinion still makes it worse than One Piece-, is that Kishi doesn't give most of his characters anything to do. Barring a few chosen ones -Gaara, Shikamaru-, most are given secondary fights that feel secondary.

At least we've been kept from it being all about power levels... Until now.

Irrelevant. I was comparing Raditz & SS3 Goku to upper tier DBZ characters, and when compared to upper Tier Naruto characters, Madara's more like SS3 Goku.

Gai didn't have yellow hair. iirc, that didn't stop you from terming his 7 Gates mode a SS transformation or something like that.

Nada. awesome

Soo....exactly how does the SA plan to not be crushed by a giant asteroid....cause if it's Gaara related then I'm going to be kind of pissed.

I also feel kind of sorry for A and Tsunade if Tobi can replicate a fraction of this with his Paths...and Sharingan.

Oh...and I though Gai was using the Kaioken when he used the 7th Gate, just saying.
