Gaara could use his sand to drag everyone underground while Oonoki uses his last remaining energy to use dust releases to at least make a giant hole in the meteor, thus weakening the impact.

Or better yet, we found out it was just an illusion. 😈

That........... would actually be awesome! If everything was simply a genjutsu that would make sense.

Temari slices it in half with her wind jutsu, saving everyone.

If it's not a genjutsu, and Kishi is actually thinking of letting that meteor falls, then the best thing i think to do will have all the characters to there most powerful move all at once to slow it down, while Gaara uses his new light weight sand, thanks to Oonoki to teleports everyone away.

I'm just hoping it doesn't involve Gaara using some mass amount of sand in an attempt to overpower it head-on...that would be stupid IMO. The Biju Ball could at least give some hope of a plausible solution. But knowing Kabuto, he'll find a way to loose another Rinnegan.

It's kind of sad that it's also one of his few legit wins in Part II as well.

If Minato didn't hit the reset button on Naruto before his fight with Deva, then I'd agreed. I will say that the first half of it was the closest thing to badass Naruto has ever gotten since this series started.

I guess. I wish Kabuto was more threatening. Then again, he is controlling a bunch of ninjas, and he's on the sidelines. So naturally, he has to come off as incompetent for the good guys to win.

True. You could count his win over Orochimaru a legit win though. He just didn't fight Orochimaru when he was healthy, and it was a really smart move on Sasuke's part as he knew Orochimaru wouldn't attempt to kill him the normal way.

He didn't hit the reset button on Naruto's stats. He just hit the reset button on the seal.
It was I suppose. Naruto was properly pissed off in that fight, but the amount of help he had threw me off. Even then, he got talk-no-jutsu'd by Pain, and Hinata had to save his ass indirectly.

😐

Nah, I just read the first half and took that you were being serious about this.

We're arguing about frickin' hair and sweat, and you're pointing out fallacies. 😐

Or Onoki flies up to it and attempts to make it super-light by using his lower gravity . He has lifted the largest living creature in Naruto-verse this way.

I really don't feel he's doing particularly incompetently. Most of the time when his zombies lose, it's due to something he couldn't see coming (Shisui's eyes turning one of his best zombies, Naruto helping against Muu), or them just not being enough for the job and really not expected to do much more than hold off the opposition. Considering he can't micro-manage them all, and the villages have fought against this jutsu before and even have knowledge there's a recent user in the last few years, it's hardly shocking that his zombies don't roll over everything.

That doesn't change the fact that he's getting the shit kicked out of him and has lost 90% of his forces whereas no one of note has died yet on the good guys side.

Typical crap. Ugh. I'm so tired of Shounen anime.

How many edo who are important to him has he lost? Pretty much just Itachi and Nagato.

He's made the Shinobi Alliance use up quite a few trump cards (the Pot, Onoki, Naruto coming out), and he still has quite a few zombies left, including the zombie he really cares about and considers unbeatable, Madara.

Hey, here's a fun one: After Onoki heroically sacrifices himself, he has Madara or the Muu copy to bring him back and gets a new Dust zombie!

Thinking of all the fights in Part 2, how many of them could even be considered legit wins?

Team Guy holds the record. vin

I joke bit above the intellectual level of comfort of most people. Some people don't even get my jokes until I explain them to them. The internet is a safe haven for me where I can be myself and not worry about people not getting them.

Case in point: I committed the same logical fallacy you I accused yo u of, towards the end of that post, pointed it out, and relished it.

Orochimaru had to have worked on his arm at one point or another. Best time probably being before the attack. Did you see Danzo or any of Root helping during the Invasion of the Sand.

The thing about Root...

Did you know of anyone in Root at the time of the invasion?

Were we even aware of Root at the point of invasion?

Was Kishi?

The answers to all of those questions:

1. Impossible to know.

2. No.

3. No.

But you see, if that was his reasoning, then that would be contradictory. Emotions? Fear that he might not get picked. Pride because he stupidly believes he is the only one who can change the world. He fears the very possibility of not being in power and believes he is the only one who can change the world. Sounds like power hungry to me. And it is certainly consistent with his character.

1. I see quite a clear contradiction to the point you're making in that first scan. In fact, it so quite clearly supports my perspective, I don't know why you used it.
2. That second scan quite clearly supports my position, as well. He thinks he's the only one that can accomplish what is necessary.
3. The third scan is clearly explained by his later explanations in the first and second scan you used.

So I see you agreeing with me, but not intending to, that Danzo is convicted in creating the absolute best military nation in the fire nation...

In fact, I was a bit mistaken: he wants to take it a step further and unite all of the shinobi world.

Nope. He states quite clearly "But in telling you his secret, he has betrayed Konoha." For Danzo, it wasn't leaving Sasuke alive that was traitorous. It was telling him the secret. Which Itachi did not do. And Danzo, who should be smart enough to realize this consider Tobi had just said that he was there at the Uchiha Massacre, falsely accused an innocent man.

No....

What I said.

Everything you said has nothing to do with what I said.

What I said still, in the most direct way possible, stands as an inexorable truth in the Naruto-Verse.

When was that ever part of the agreement? The agreement, near as I can tell, was don't touch Sasuke or you will regret it. Did Danzo keep to this agreement? No. He was going to kill Sasuke anyway, damn whatever Itachi does. That makes Danzo the traitor of this agreement.

That's an easy question to answer with another question:

When was protecting Sasuke from the massacre ever part of the agreement when he became a missing nin?

That's an easy answer: Itachi never wanted Sasuke to become a traitor to Konoha. He expressed regret over it. Sasuke forfeit whatever protection he had from the massacre as soon as he betrayed the village.

And, it would have been quite easy for Danzo to take care of Sasuke while he was in the village. So as soon as he betrayed it, Sasuke literally forfeit any protection he had FROM the ordered massacre. Itachi's agreement no longer held any form of bond when Sasuke did that.

He cares about the village that can go **** itself if it means he can have power. Better position with him at the helm huh? Well, Tsunade did nothing wrong. Akatsuki was going to come for Naruto, regardless of who was in charge. Danzo on the other hand, if he were somehow able to protect his position(He wouldn't) would have brought the whole world against Konoha.

Incorrect: He knew that most of the village would survive and even states why: Tsunade would save them.

Edit - I explained that already in the same exact section you responded to.

By his own words, Danzo isn't even a true ninja. "Self sacrifice...that is what defines a ninja." It wasn't until he was already dying that Danzo did any sort of self sacrificing which doesn't count cause he was going to die anyway. Hiruzen gave his life for the entire village. Tsunade very nearly did the same. Minato gave his life, Itachi gave his life, even Pain himself gave his life just to save Konoha. Danzo is all talk, nothing more. He is not a true ninja.

You're taking my words out of context and applying them incorrectly.

A true ninja used dishonorable and dirty tactics to obtain the maximum positive outcome. This has nothing to do with the fictional universe of Naruto.

I was directly referencing the Bushido code coming into direct conflict/contrast of the shinobi way.

Danzo, in that regard, is a true ninja. Using dirty and underhanded tactics to obtain the maximum long-term benefit/goals.

He's a true ninja and one of the few very real ninjas in the Naruto-Verse.

Bee. Or some super combination tech, or Onoki sacrificing himself.

That's a good point.

I bet he uses the dust frumunda his balls. He probably keeps a 'last resort' pouch of dust unda doughs tangs, no doubt.

My post remains uncontested. I win by default. The best way of winning there is.
