Wait, who says that it can only control the Jubi? I was under the impression that it worked on any biju. I mean, I don't suppose there were really any cases where this was shown one way or another, but I thought Madara had a level of dominance much like Hashirama's.

Only Hashirama had control over all the beasts, but Madara only had control over the Kyuubi. That, or I'm wrong and Hashirama had just better control over all the beasts. But there is a connection between Madara and the Kyuubi...and we do not know the full story, yet. (we know part of it)

I suspect that the Rinnigan could control any of them...which MAY be part why the Kyubi was rage-fitting about Madara trying to control him: he knows "Tobi" already has most of the others?

Tobi wanted the war to rage, as Tsunade said, he posed as Madara and mentioned the moon plan in order to have everyone fight against him. When Madara is summoned by Edo Tensei, he actually seems surprised to see ninjas for several villages fighting.

Wouldn't split your soul would make you an impossible target for Impure Resurrection? I know the rules aren't set in stone, but at this point we have seen more things that suggest Tobi is someone else -unexplainable things like him not resurrecting Madara using Nagato's power-, than any split theory.

Is there a possible reason for a diminished Madara not resurrecting his former stronger self other than enmity between the parts?

Well, we know that Tobi is not Madara.

Madara has intimate knowledge of ET and even knows more about it than Kabuto (it was designed, originally, to be a trump card that kills everyone, including the caster, so that the ET bodies are destroyed, as well (kill Kabuto and it gets undone)).

Maybe Kabuto is aware of that fact. Not sure.

Anyway, Tobi is more assuredly not Madara. He's someone else. Based on the evidence of the last three chapters, that is.

I don't think that is what is being implied. Mostly because it would contradict Kabuto's words(which are probably true) and Hiruzen's thoughts(the only time I'll use his title of Professor to defend him). I'm not sure if Madara's knowledge would outrank his in this case, since Hiruzen did live in the time of Tobirama. I think Madara means that the Edo Tensei allows the summoned thing to attack without fear of being wiped out because it doesn't matter if they're taken out.

Yeah, it's more or less proof that Kabuto sucks at tactics.

I think that they both work on all nine, Hashirama just had an even higher degree of control. It makes sense to me that the two lineages of the sage would both share in his dominance.

Well that makes sense I guess.

Hey! I wonder what Tobi's going t do when he finds out that the Kages have left HQ. Wonder if he'll throw a fit and start killing fodder.

He wouldn't care. He is headed towards Naruto and Bee.

Which makes the Kage seem really careless in my opinion.

So that's where he's going...I though he was making a pit stop at HQ first.

They stepped in to prevent Kabuto from adding two Kages to his collection.

Well know he is just adding 5. 😛

Bets on who lives and who dies?

Everybody lives. Even madara who is dead 😑

Bee is probably dying protecting Naruto from uber-Tobi.

Onoki seems the safest bet on a heroic death.

Gaara isn't likely to die IMO. Same with Mei.

A is a maybe.

Tsunade I can actually see happening, she dies so that Naruto won't have some old ***** in his way for becoming Hokage. Hopefully she dies after justifying her rank.

Though Tsunade could also just step down and let him take over.

I'd say Onoki > A > Tsunade > Terumi > Gaara, death odds.

Why is A going to die?

Why DOES he have to die?

This pretty much.

A doesn't necessarily have to die, but he, like Onoki, is an old fool who's changed his ways, and he has the fully-ready successor on the wings of Bee.

Bee isn't really fit to be Raikage.

Darui could be Raikage though. Probably.

That one lady...wit da big bewbz would make a good one. She's smart, powerful, and intelligent. Not Tsunade.lol

We haven't seen much of her to determine Kage level. But she is probably stronger than Omoi at least.
