So yeah, I'm thinking it is mainly just a nod to the manga that inspired him. I'm really hoping One Piece and Bleach get nods as well, recognizing them as Naruto's kinsmen of the HST. Idealistic sure but that's what I'd like. 😛

Just saying but due to Bleach's sales dropping, I wonder if it's considered part of the HST anymore; It's in 8th Place IIRC.
Yeah that would be pretty cool but hasn't One Piece already gotten that in a way?
Oh and Hashirama told the Kyuubi to stay put before Mito did, just in a nicer sentence than Madara.
