She did. She was just never in a position to be trained. After the 2nd Round, Naruto and Sasuke had priority. After that, Kakashi was comatose. And after that, Kakashi was being given tons of missions and couldn't keep track of his team.

Well yes, I'm pretty serious. Sakura originally only wanted Sasuke's dick but went through a process known as character development that changed her for the better.

Mind you, she obviously wanted to be a good ninja. Otherwise, why bother with the exam?

yeah, she did go through character development. Instead of just wanting Sasuke's dick, she started to care about training so that she could be strong enough to bring Sasuke back to the village... to get his dick.

Pretty sure her goal was to get Sasuke to notice her.

I actually like Sakura NOW.

If anyone is after Sasuke's dick now, it would be Naruto.

She is in my top 10 though in all honesty. 😮

Though I no longer hate her, I can't forget those precious Part 1 moments where she was just an accesory.

She did develpo battered-woman syndrome after Naruro started preaching about getting Sasuke back.

give her some credit:

-no kekkei genkai or clan techniques

-no bijuu

-a girl in kishi's manga

all she has is brains and great chackra control and with guidance she's becoming a great support kunoichi. she already has diet-tsunade medical skills and diet-tsunade strength.

seriously though, she has no special shit that pretty much everyone else is nothing without, only one that can hold this title over her is lee.

i mean, what is temari without her fan?

i know, but at the same time fan-service is another thing people say sakura isn't and a reason they trash on the character, however, someone like hinata who is comparatively more useless considering she has a kekkei genkai and a strong clan lineage has big boobs to give her a pass.

i just think temari is a lazy design/fighter, but the fact that guys ogle her disrupts their brains from seeing her lameness.

sakura's not the only one to want sasuke's pale chalk stick, though she is the most access to him being on his team and all.

i hate being the "white knight" but it is what it is.

I don't think Hinata has big boobs. They are fairly normal size. I think you're confusing a few doujins (sp?) for the Manga Hinata. She wears that jacket all the time so you can't even see them.

Sakura is fine, as well. I have no problems with her except for her former biitch ass attitude and fawning over Sasuke. She's grown up and gotten over it. So all of my complaints about her character are gone. However, to Kishi's credit, he intended the readers to be irritated with her in the same ways I was. So that's a plus of Kishi.

I don't think she's lame but she's not all that great, either.

The two of them are closer in terms of fanservice than, say, Orihime and Rukia. Dunno who I'd prefer.

Temari has dem legs though. And wind is a fun style of fighting.

I disagree.

I'd put Hinata, in terms of fanservice, on par with Nanao Ise or Momo Hinamori because we never see their goodies, she is well covered, and are not intended to be ultra attractive.

Tsunade is considered fanservice, in Naruto, imo. Same with Anko. Most especially Samui.

Hinata is not fanservice. Nor is Sakura. Ino, after the time-skip, did become fanservice a bit. Still not Sakura or Hinata.

Indeed, which is why they're on the same level in terms of fanservice. Hinata has had her goodies shown whenever she is being healed after curbstomping and Sakura tends to be put in poses.

Mind you, Naruto itself doesn't seem to bother much with fanservice compared to Bleach or One Piece. Cannot decide if this works against the manga or not.
