Boring chapter was boring.

When Kakashi copied Zabuza, the tech was copied instantly. Sasuke took days to learn Chidori, which I don't know why you guys are discussing, since it isn't even shape manipulation anyway, or at least, doesn't involve a lot of it.

Doing simple jutsus that only requires handsigns and proper chakra manipulation: can be learned fairly instantly with sharingan.

Learning taijutsu movements? Instant. Actually doing either: you have to have the chakra levels for the former and it can't be a KG...for the latter, you have to have the stamina and physical abilities to accomplish it.

Why shape manip? Cause he took Chidori to a new level with shape manip. Makes long cutty blade thingies...and does an all over cover thing. Basically, he goes apeshit with shape manip and chidori.

Keep in mind that Sasuke figured out that lightning disarms Deidara's bombs in the ground because of "nature" matches. That was brains. Sure, that's genin academy stuff...but it's still awesome how he figured it out. Go back and read that fight, peeps, to see that Sasuke is a fairly decent fighter in the brains department. Well, he was...until he started spamming high level MS techs.

But when Naruto was pwning white zetsu, everybody was having a jizz-fit that too this day I can harly understand.

I'm still more interested in the Kages vs Madara fight. I'm going to be pissed if that becomes an off panel battle.

It was the fact that Naruto didn't use a tech that was given to him because of his genes: he used a tech that he had to learn...created new variants...and was pwning with it.

Then he called down a giant ass-toad (yes, ass-toads) to crush the rest of the bitches instantly. Sasuke? Well, he got his tech by getting an eye transplant...not by being inventive and original.

If Sasuke would have come up with some great fire ball variants, I would have liked it. I'm tired of the MS spam. I liked the Sasuke vs. Bee fight because:

1. Bee was awesome.

2. Sasuke tried to do some varied stuff other than just linear spam MS tech crap.

Naruto beating the Zetsus was a big part of his plan to turn the tide of the war, it was also Tobi's plan all along, and the enemity between each party was clearly defined. Sasuke was just killing Zetsus for the kicks and using freaking Susaano to do it.

Has anyone else noticed that Mangafox's translations suck dick? Holy hell, that as hard to read.

I know all this, why you telling me shit I already know bro? Lemme return the favour.

Look at Chidori Nagashi, and A's Lightning Armor. They are similar in concept. Sasuke could easily use A's Lightning Armor now that he's seen it with his Sharingan, if he had the chakra levels, but he doesn't. So yeah.

Chidori itself involves little to no shape manipulation, and learning Chidori took days as per Kakashi's words. So he couldn't have used his Sharingan to copy Kakashi. That was training. Same goes for Lee's speed. All he saw with the Sharingan was a kick, and a jump. Yet after the month's training, he was able to match a Weights Off Lee in speed.

All those jutsus he makes that are derived from Chidori? Yeah, it needs shape manipulation, which he mastered himself, as Orochimaru had never seen the Chidori Spear.

He's overall better than Naruto in the brains department. In that Deidara fight, he outsmarted Deidara, and Deidara's one of the more intelligent ninjas in the series.
Sasuke doesn't have Naruto's knack for deception, but in terms of figuring out an enemy's jutsu/style of attack, and then coming up with a suitable counter to beat them, he's better.

It was for Nephy, not you. Unsure why the clipboard copy-pasted your post instead of his.

But you'd already replied to me. I didn't write a response, so why were you replying again? :?

It's obvious.

He wants to **** you. DP has gotten too saggy for him.

Actually, I dumped him, and you told DDM that Neph was a much easier target.

....awesome

Your jutsu does not work on me vin

Tobi is so awesome.

He is probably my favorite Naruto character at the moment...>_>

Too bad he can't do goofy stuff like that anymore now that hes been outted as the Big Bad without losing his sense of threat. Though tbh Tobi never had much of that anyway.

Wut? I've always thought Tobi was a threat. Still do really. 😮

Well he's a threat, sure, but he isn't really a very threatening character imo. He's just not particularly imposing or scary or psychotic or anything. He's still a cool villain. And hey, not many Naruto characters are particularly threatening.

Well, he is a sociopath. That's kind of threatening.

I think the thing that makes Tobi a threat is his intellect and the fact that no one really knows what he is planning. The only thing we know about him is that he needs Sasuke for something. Not knowing what a character is planning or what he looks like is pretty scary for me at least.

Though I suppose I can see the not imposing. His central technique is just avoiding techniques. And while this is perfect for a character like Tobi, it isn't very threatening. Now with his 6 Bijuu powered Paths though, I definitely think he is one of the biggest threats in Naruto. Among the top 3 strongest ninja at least.

Yes, thats pretty much what I meant. He's still a great villain because he's sociopathic, driven and intelligent and he is a legitimately massive and believable threat to the entire planet, but I just don't find him that threatening.
