X3- assumptions

X-assumptions

Most of us here have seen both X-men and X2😘-men united. And we all know that Brian Singer has given the X-men saga a great sense of reality. What I’m asking of you is what do you expect from Brian Singer and the 3rd installment of the X-men movies. We all want to see our favorite characters and we all want the bigger action. But now we have two stories that can go anywhere. For example (this is what I would do if I could) The last thing Yuriko Oyama (Lady Deathstrike) saw was Logan/Wolverine killing her. We all know that Wolverine and Deathstrike are enemies in the comic books. Let’s say she didn't die because she has the same healing factors as Wolverine. After she is healed up she could take her revenge on Wolverine. After She discovers this was all of a big misunderstanding she falls in love with Wolverine. This would also refer to the comic books. So throughout both movies you can assume away and come up with all different stories. What I’m trying to do is let people be creative. Some characters will never make it to any movie. But there are some strong contenders. Gambit, Beast and Angel are I think the most talked about. I hope people understand what I’m doing with this thread. So what are you assumptions. Keep in mind that all of this must be somewhat realistic because that is what Brian Singer would do. So nothing far fetched. Like Rogue and Magneto having a baby. I have a lot of ideas but it is really too much to post in one day. What do you think of the Deathstrike story and what are your assumptions.

I think Deathstrike is dead and should stay dead... it's an interesting idea, having her come back, but I think it would be stretching it to say that healing powers could recover from a body pumped full of adamantium. My assumption is that it will have something to do with the other mutants seen only on Stryker's computer (such as Gambit). Maybe Professor X stole those files along with the ones he gave to the prez at the end of X2. If so, X3 could involve a rescue of those mutants, still being held by Stryker's successor.
This is more of a question really, but what will happen to Professor X this time? First, he was poisoned by Mystique, then captured by Stryker... with his mind control, Cerebro, and ability to "freeze" time, as seen in the museum, he seems almost omnipotent, so they'll probably need to take him out somehow for there to be any good conflict... any ideas on this?

oh deathstrike didn't die becuz the adamantium got pumped into her body she drowned so i say she's dead for good but i'm still wondering who will be wolvies big fight in the next

maybe Sabretooth? or it will happen just in the Wolvie movie...?
I think Wolverine'll have just a little part of the X3 cuz he'll have another movie.

sabretooth and toad are back in the X3, no? but deathstrike... i don't think so...

kelly Hu is signed up for x-3,but i,m not sure they'll have her in it(what can she bring to the storyline- nothing).I think they should save her for the wolverine spin-off movies.

Deathstrike did die from the adamantium being pumped into her body, once adamantium cools off is undesdructible which means all her organs and cavities got sealed off and her healing factor wouldnt work on the adamantium, i would be ridiculous but i do see a way to bring Kelly Hu back which would be making her Psylockes twin sister in the movies and not only would we get Kelly Hu back but we would get her as Psylocke as well which i always thought she coulp be perfect as. Now back to topic what i think Singer needs to do is bring the Sentinels into the picture as mutants/humans relations have degraded in the movie it is time the humans turned the tide by unleashing Project:WideAwake(sentinels) which was also in one of the computer screens in X2 and while i would like to see many of my favorites X-men in the movie, too many characters would distract from the actual movie, like i said before somewhere, the only way to bring characters that everybody loves is as cameos and as much as i love the Magneto character it would be good to leave him out for this movie since the first 2 had to deal with him in one way or another but if he doesnt leave him out at least have him plan something but in the background, something that wont get revealed in X3 but in a following movie X4 or something!

NO, NO Magneto will never stay in the wings. He's one the mutants that make X2 the better movie. Like the scene in the plastic prison. But other than that i could see the human uprising being part of X3. I could see that and it is a very realistic. Maybe not as far as sntinels though.

Although Magneto does need more of a force for the next movie then. That means new mutants. I would love to see sabertooth and even taod come back for it but there are other mutants. Deathstrike is dead we all know it and even though Kelly hu sgined up for the next movie she aint gonna be in it sorry. Maybe im to obsessed but I remeber pyro from the comics he had an awsome mutant partner names Avalanch loved to see him thrown in there somewere. Gambit will have to be in X3 as well its not the x-men without him and iceman is a panzy in these movies. Rogue needs a bad asss. Someone who can take it to the next level for X3. Also i have heard of Beast and Angel being the other new mutants. I think angel will be hard cuase if you didnt notice non of the x men in the movies except storm can fly and storms mad cool. But back to Magneto's group you kno that Pyro is now with him fo course why else would we went with him at the end of X2. Man the brotherhood needs their mutants back. Cuase bad guys always kick ass.

I'm assuming that X3 will have a smaller role for Wolverine cause of his upcoming spinoff movie. I also think Storm will have a either smaller role or a much bigger one, since I hear that's what she wants.

Also with newer X-men coming into the team (Rouge, Iceman, Nightcrawler, and maby Colossous) I'm pertty sure they'll have a Danger room sene.

I also think the Sentinels will be the next main bad guys in X3. I'm thinking right now that they'll come about as an inititive by the Pres to start hunting down and jailing terroistic mutants such as Magneto's brotherhood (since wether he likes it or not I'm sure the people would demand action be taken against evil mutants after the Magneto Cerbro thing). Then the Sentinels may malfunction or get corrupted by a radical anti-mutant group which would start them off hunting and killing all mutants.

DArth The twin sister thing does sound cool. We know Brian singer can do it and he will make it work. It depends if Psylocke has enough character.

i was never a big fan of the whole sentinels but if they decide to do that they should not make them so giant size. it doesn't look real.

I do think that magneto, and wolverien should get smaller roles. or Magneto can sit this one out let mystique do things on her own with pyro and wolverine shoeld just get a smaller role. if we see to mucjh of these charcters we'll get bored.

I do think Halle Berry wil get a bigger role in X3 because she and nightcrawler had great cinamatic chemistry. and because of what she is demanding She is the mother figure and he will always do what is good.

If there is one new charachter they should intoduce it's GAmbit. He always had a great power and the fsact that he's french can make the female fans go wild.

I agree with what u said Buffy and i think that a good way to introduce Psylocke as Deathstrike sister would be for her to look for revenge agains Wolverine and then realizing that she was being controlled by Stryker and eventually joining the X-men and this whole part of the movie could be aside from the rest of the team! And Gambit could be introduced quiet easily, have him start the movie by stealing something from the government, something very important and then have the X-men and the Sentinels searching for him for different reasons!

are you a writer for the upcoming X3 movie coz in my opnion you could be. That is a great way to introduce Gambit and the sentinels together.

Shadow why do you think Omega red is going to be in this movie.

Psylocke as deathstrikes sister? it's a good way of introducing her but psylocke is british and deathstrikes japanese, they can't be sisters

True but in themovie it wouldnt matter seeing as how they always change a lot of things and also bringing Gambit into themovie would give Storm a bigger part because to catch a thieveu need a thieve and in the comics Storm is one of the best thieves(cat burglar)in the Marvel Universe not to mention that in the comics Gambits first appearance was helping Storm!

It really wouldnr matter, they could make Deathstrike british as well and seeing as how she only had oneline and no information about her was given in the movie!

she may appear in a flash back or in another film, let us not forget that deathstrike was originally A DAREDEVIL VILLIAN!!!
