I'd rather watch German actors with subtitles, or an English actor learn to put an accent/speak the language yes.

But doesn't really put me off as long as there is good acting.

Everything is forgiven because "Inglorious Basterds" is so entertaining and at the end of the day that'ìs what matters. I think it's a pity that certain critics, specially in Italy, are determined to transform this clever pulp director into some kind of god. Maybe, partly, because Tarantino has been very clever, elevating some of the Italian pulp movies of the 60's and 70's to a sort of cult status.

Pitt was ****ing awesome in this film. Man had some downright classic scenes and lines. The scene where he's speaking "Italian". You can't tell me that shit didn't make you piss in your pants. Unfortunately, I skipped seeing this in the cinema. Terrible decision on my behalf. Some films are best watched every once in awhile. That's what I feel this film is. Doesn't take anything away from it. This was an absolute pleasant suprise for me. This film is a downright classic. The opening scene plays with a certain suspence and menace that I haven't seen from recent films in a while. Waltz is insanely good as is Pitt. Every scene involving Waltz is extremely eye-catching. Pitt is nearly as good as him here and that's saying something.

The plot was good and it had some funny parts.And I love the Head Nazi in that movie.But it was too bloody and I got real bored with all the subtitles it had in it.

I get bored with the typical Tarentino-esque "Let's all sit around and say witty things, then kill each other in as violent a fashion as possible" formula that serves as the crux of every single movie he does like damn near ever. Exceptions aside.

I find his particular formula to be exceptionally boring though.

I can't say i completely disagree; but some of his movies are utterly captivating in terms of story and character... e.g. 'Kill Bill', 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Reservoir Dogs'.

Bored reading subtitles... it's not hard to read subtitles you know. I take it you are not a fan of foreign films then, shame.

Any film can be distilled and simplified to the point where it sounds boring. His movies have a lot more going on than that; and to most people, myself included, they're extremely entertaining.

Maybe you shouldn't watch Tarantino's (not Tarentino) films!

You may not realise it but Blaxican and yourself have quite the feud going on.

I liked Planet terror, that was Robert Rodriguez. I hated Death Proof.

So you like all of his films except Death Proof AND Inglourious Basterds.
