Any film can be distilled and simplified to the point where it sounds boring. His movies have a lot more going on than that; and to most people, myself included, they're extremely entertaining.

Maybe you shouldn't watch Tarantino's (not Tarentino) films!

I generally avoid them. It's hard to do so, though, because people think they're the greatest shit since sliced bread and thus watch them everywhere, at least in my family.

So you like all of his films except Death Proof AND Inglourious Basterds.
Correct.

You should be lucky your family likes Tarantino films and not shit like Marley and Me; even if you don't like QT, most families watch way worse stuff.

Bored reading subtitles... it's not hard to read subtitles you know. I take it you are not a fan of foreign films then, shame.

It is annoying to me anyway to keep having to read them.and actly I do like Foregin firms but I prefer english speaking ones alot better. We all have our likes and dislikes and I don't subtitles. 😎

This is truth. I grew up in a house with 3 younger sisters: lots of Barney, Disney, and Barbie shit. 🙁

Here's a question.....what if someone loves all Tarantino films but hates this one?
How can you hate this film? I skipped out on this and saw it late. Snuck up on me and bit my ass. 😱

This and Pulp Fiction are probably my favorite QT films. (However, I did think Death Proof sucked ass.) Inglorious Basterds is amazing, though. You can't beat Christoph Waltz's performance as the Jew Hunter. F#cking priceless. I mean, this movie is a prime example of how films should be made. This is how it's done, folks.

It was a good plot but it was too bloody for me and I did not like that there was so much subtitles.

I know, right? I mean, if I wanted to read, I'd pick up a book! 😛

Lol yea that is my point and it went so fast that most of the time I kepted having to stop the dvd and go back to the subtitles so I would know what was going on.

So I guess you don't watch foreign language films, then.

I'm weird, cuz I actually like subtitles. I turn on English subtitles for good 'ol American, English-speaking movies all the time. I'm very visual, and my auditory perception isn't very sharp, so if I can see the words on the screen I can follow something much better. I don't usually mind the reading. Been doing that since I was in pre-k or kindergarten or whatever. Inglorious Basterds just completely absorbed me... I couldn't look away and all the dialogue (which QT uses rather heavily) completely sucked me in.

I had watched only a couple I am not a big fan of them. 🙂

Watched this again (well, most of it at least; gonna finish it up with my girlfriend when we get a chance). This film is damn near fukking superb. So good. It's fun watching it again and again when you know what's coming, cuz you see more details and the dialogue just gets more playful and fun. Excellente. 👆
