Seth and KAt walked down the hallway.
"I'm not supposed to even be here, I should really get back to class"
"Aw c'mon Kat stay with me"
"I guess so, I really dont feel like doing anything anymore, she sat down and layed her head on the lockers. Seth sat next to her and took out a green bouncy ball and started to play with it soon enough Katherine joined him.
Kat saw Derek she immediately got up and walked towards him.
Seth tried to grab her arm but he missed, very quietly he said, "Kat no"
"You know what Derek, I can live with the fact that you hurt me, I dont know why you did it or why you even made me believe I was your friend, but there is one thing i wont take, so stay the hell away from Seth.
Seth was near behind.
Katherines eyes got teary and she turned to walk away to Seth.
Derek stood there for a moment, unsure. Then it hit him, all of a sudden, with the force of a hurricane. Anger started to build in him. He did the thing where he screams and pounds his fists and head against the wall. He made a dent in the locker. Then he went up to Seth and backed him against the wall. He felt like punching the crap out of him, but he didn't. Instead, he came within four inches of Seth's face and yelled as loud as he could. "You don't get it, do you?! You have no goddamn idea what I go through every single f***ing day of my life!! You've just had everything handed to you on a f***ing platter!! You never had to struggle or work a day in your life!! Well I got something to tell you, pretty boy!!! Keep the f*ck out of my life and stay the f*ck away from my friends!!!" Every other sentance he poked Seth in the chest.
Seth pushed him off him,"GEt the hell away from me psycho!"
KAtherine ran in front of Seth, "Derek what's your problem, Whats wrong with you! you know your not the only one with a ****ing problem! I lived my whole ****ing life with out anybody and all I am to my parents is a trophy that gets straight A's and plays a piano, The sad part about it is that I'm also never good enough, They always want more! TO make things worse the people i thought were my friends drug me!!!!"
"For the love of god, you would believe that as$hole before me? I didn't drug you! I didn't even see you the entire party!"
For a moment Derek just stood in the hall, looking at the two and shaking his head. Then he turned and ran. He ran all the way to his house, went to his room, and dug a knife out from under a pile of clothes. It was too much. His mother was dead, and he didn't have to wait for the cops to know that. One of his best friends had betrayed him. He felt like he had nothing to live for. He flicked the blade out of the handle and held it in his right hand, looking at it.
"What a coward!, HE couldnt even admit to drugging me!, And he didnt even see me that night, Bullshit!"
"KAt!, Calm the hell down!"
"No SEth!!, I dont nee-" Seth pushed her against the lockers and put his hand on her mouth to keep her from shouting, he knew if anyone from the party heard, they would tell her that Seth was with her the whole time.
"I'ma get you outta here k"
KAt nodded, and he let her go.
Once they were in the car, Kat started talking again.
"I'm sorry 'bout that, its just that i really liked derek and Allo-- Seth! WAtch out!"
They were about to be in a head head collision, but Seth swayed the car to the side and ended up hitting a tree.
Kat bumbed her head on the glove compartment and all the things inside it flew out. SHe held her head and closed her eyes, and saw a flashback from the party 'seth was serving 2 drinks'. She immediately opened her eyes. SHe saw that seth was out there talking to someone on his cell phone. She looked at her lap and saw white pills, 3 pill containers, and some needles. She picked up a pill container when Seth opened the passenger door,
"Hey sweetie are you ok"
She looked at him and nodded, she took her seatbelt off and got out of the car.
"KAt, I just called a tow truck, so it'll be coming in a few minutes"
"ok"
Derek lifted the knife, trembling, and slashed it hard across his left wrist. Then he switched hands and did the same on his right side. He threw the knife down on the floor, his blood flowing out of his veins and staining the carpet. He laid face down on the floor, feeling a grim satisfaction. All the people who had tried to hurt him in his life would never touch him again.
KAtherine stood on Seth's porch pressing her hand against her head, flasbacks were spinning around her head.
:kids dancing' 'kids chugging, 'a figure opening a pill capsule and pouring the powder in a drink:
"KAt are you ok"
Katherine sighed. "yeah, i am". Seth smiled and said "thats good, Well come on in"
Katherine entered his house, he told her to wait up in his room, she went upstairs and entered his room,she sat no his navy blue couch.
He came upstairs and was holding 2 ice teas, he handed one to Katherine, "thanks seth", then she noticed a 'k' carved into his wrist, he noticed that she saw, "Oh i did that when i was 12, the 'k' stands for my best friend Kevin, yup me and him were soul mates"
Katherine frowned and said, "ok, um, Seth, thanks for everything" she stood up and placed the iced tea on his desk,"but um I really have to get going."
Seth took her hands and leaned in to kiss her she closed her eyes and another flashback came into her head,
: After the figure mixed the powder into the drink he came into the light, Seth handed her the drink, hurry up and drink this kitty:
KAtherine opened her eyes and moved away, "You were the one! You drugged me SETh!"
Seth grabbed her and pushed her against the wall,
"Kitty dont leave me please! , I am sorry, but I want you, I really do! but when something is mine no one else can have it not Derek or Allor.
Katherine started crying,"Seth let me go! your hurting me!! Let GO!" KAtherine started to scream. SEth put his hand on her mouth to keep her from screaming. She kicked his groin with her knee and started running down the stairs. he caught up to her as she opened the front door. He shut the door and pinned her against it.
"Why do you think? My f***ing mother is dead, every day when I go to school I have to look at that b.astard Rowan, the whole damn school wants to kill me for all the stuff I say about the popular kids, and to top everything off, some mother f***ing moron moves in next door to you and two days later you won't speak to anybody except him! Now you just go back to your cute little boyfriend and be his f***ing love slave!"
