"Derek!, Oh my god no!, Derek, please wake up" KAtherine started crying she placed her hand on his face and started patting it. "DErek please" she whimpered.
She got up and ran to the phone. The ambulance arrived and took derek and Katherine to the hospital. Derek was in a hospital room and Katherine was in the waiting room
Katherine looked at her arm she had a big bruise on it, she knew it was from how hard Seth was holding her when he pinned her to the wall. She had already called Allor to tell her what had happened.
"Miss.Sanders?"
Katherine looked up and saw the docter who was attending Derek. She gave him a weak smile and stood up.
"How is he?"
"He's in a severe condition, he lost a lot of blood, we had made a blood transfusion, but things aren't that easy, Its a good thing you found him because he would have died."
"If it wasnt for me, He wouldnt have even slashed his wrists."
The docter gave KAtherine a sympathetic look and patter her back.
"He'll be fine, dont worry yourself to much"
The docter left and Katherine plopped back into her seat and put face in her hands and started to cry.
Derek woke slowly, aware of only two things. His life had been saved. And that he hated whoever had been responsible for it. He looked over at his forearm. An IV and a blood transfusion was attached to it. He reached over with his free hand and ripped both of them out at the same time. There was a roll of gauze on the table next to him, and he wrapped some around his arm to stop it from bleeding. Then he got out of his bed, pulled off the hospital gown thing, and put his clothes back on. With that, he left the room, ignoring the nurses who approached him and asked him to go lay down. He had been here enough times to know his way around, and he left out a back door. Outside, there were a lot of nurses on their breaks hanging around smoking. He jumped down the stairs and walked across the street to a Grayhound bus station. He went to the counter and bought a ticket to Portland, Oregon. He had grown up in Eugene, which was a couple hours south of Portland. He couldn't explain it, but he suddenly felt a longing to go back there...
"Here you are sir," said the ticket clerk. "Your bus leaves in 45 minutes."
Meanwhile KAtherine was sitting on the the waiting room chair flipping over a magazine. She spotted a nurse she ran over to her.
"Um hi, I was wondering how the boy in room 211 is?"
"Oh honey that boy checked 15 minutes ago"
"What!? oh god! "
Katherine ran out of the hospital and looked around, She ran all over until she spotted some nurses smoking cigarettes.
"lookin for something doll?"
"Actually I am, I am looking for this tall young guy with spikes, he might have come here 15 minutes ago, have you seen him?"
One of the curses chuckled and said,"I sure did princess, see that bus station right over there, you might find what your lookin for, if you go take a look"
Katherine smiled and said with glee,"thank you so much"
She ran acroos the street, and started to shout,"Derek! Derek where are you !?"
She started to walk around, looking for him.
*BACK AT SETHS HOUSE*
"oh god Seth your bleeding all over the place, here put this ice bag on your head"
"Thanks sis".
Haylie smiled and said, "Im going to DAnny's place so ill see ya later,oh mum said she wont be back till tommorow so cook your own dinner" She took her white blazer and shut the door, Seth ran to the window and saw her pull out of the driveway. he smiled and got his jacket and keys. he got in his car.
"now to find my Kat"
KAtherine looked at him her eyes wide and her mouth open ,she looked at all the buses and thought, those would take her far away, far away from her parents, far away from all the kids she hated at school, and far away from Seth.
She smiled and said" ok, i'll leave with you".
"KAT!"
She spun her head and saw Seth satnding a few feet away, she quickly stood up as started to tremble.
Seth started to walk toward her.
"Kitty, I'm sorry, I only did it because I like you, kitty please.
Kat ran behind derek.
Seth got up, he was breathing heavily, he placed a hand on his ribs and twitched, "you broke my rib *******!" Seth weakly got up and took out a gun out of his jean pocket, Katherine covered her mouth to keep her from screaming, her eyes were wide with terror. "What are ya gonna do now, huh punk?" he aimed the gun at him.
Katherine was shaking furiously as she started walking towards him, her eyes were getting filled with tears, "Seth, dont do this, please... I'll go with you, just dont hurt anybody"
Seth looked at her as she walked towards him her tight fitting tee and her low rise jeans made him wanting her more than ever. HE took her her arm and pulled her to him, still aiming the gun at Derek. Katherine started to cry as she mouthed bye to Derek.
"You better stay away from us you son of a *****!"
Derek walked towards him, staring him straight in the eye. He had a look on his face that was a combination of anger, hate, and fearlessness. "See that guy over there?" Derek jabbed his thumb at a police officer down the street. "Somehow he's managed not to hear us yet. But trust me, if you fired that gun, he would. He'd come over here and be on top of you like that." Derek snapped his fingers. "You really don't want to shoot me."
