KAtherine handed him the bowl of popcorn, "Do you want some Derek?..Oh before you awnser, is it ok we stay, I mean i dont want to be any trouble. or anything, I mean i know its som--" befor she finished her sentence, Katherine broke out giggling when Dale slapped his dad and ran out crying. She popped a handful of popcorn as she managed to say," aw, haha, this is great stuff!"

Kevins roommate looked at her weird but took some popcorn too.

Derek grabbed a handful of popcorn and stuffed it in his mouth. "We can stay tonight, after that we have to find a hotel."

"Oh, Ok" Katherine stood up and stretched out her arms, "Derek im tired" She stood in front of him looking down at him, "Where am i going to sleep?".

Kevin pointed to the couch. "There."
"I'm starving...", Derek said. "And it's only 8:00. It's too early to go to bed.

Katherine looked at the couch and arched her eyebrow, "okay then, but um now that derek mentions starvation you wouldnt happen to have some oreo cookies would you?

"Um... No. I have a half eaten burrito, an open can of soda, a rotten carton of milk, and an empty pizza box," Kevin said, looking in the refrigerator. "We could always go out I guess..."

"yeah we should go out"

((Bump, lets already be at a fast food place))

"I'll have an amigos burrito with extra hot sauce."

"Can I have the zesty muy caliente burrito please,"

"Sure thing shug" The waitress finished taking the orders and left to get the drinks.

"So kevin, how do you know Derek? are you too buddy buddies? i would really love to know your story"

"I don't think you really want to know."

"Sure i'd like to know thats why I'm asking" Katherine said as the waitress put the plate in front of her. The waitress placed the other dishes in front of the boys and they started eating.

"So then, whats your story...."

"Uh... Well... Let's just say we had a little run-in with the law together..."

Katherine simply said oh and finished eating her burrito. KAtherine looked at her watch it was 10:30pm. She rested her head on the table and closed her eyes.

Derek poked Katherine in the back, trying to get her to stand up.

Katherine stood up and rubbed one of her eyes, "what *yawn* whats up?"

Derek went and got in the car, waited for everyone else, and went back to Kevin's apartment.

When he got there, he dug a blanket out of a closet and went to sleep on the living room floor.

Katherine went over to derek and patted his back, she then went to the couch and fell asleep.

*next morning*

Derek hauled himself up from the floor and went into the kitchen, where he started making breakfast.

Katherine was still asleep on the couch.
