Wow, its so nice that we've got KMC forums members who auditioned - so we're getting 1st hand info on how it really went like - thanx girls for giving us the opportunity to share your experience.
Just want to add that they really should have atleast taken fotos of ALL the girls who were there - what a waste if they failed to take at least a foto of one great girl who would have potentially been the Cho they are looking for.. i mean, if they were basing it primarily on looks, then a foto would be very important.
Coz those people at the pineapple studios - how qualified are they to decide who should stay & who should go away? If they had the fotos at least, they can show it to Mike Newell (the director) and/or JKR - they might like the "look" of some of those who were turned away! And their judgment counts the most right?
if they dont find the girl they're looking for, i'm sure they'll look at the fotos of the others again..

I know that I kinda contradict myself cuz i wrote prolly instead of probably, but the majority of my words are spelt out and letters aren't missing.

I'm not picking on you, really I'm not I'm just curious on what you're definition of HK chinese and China Chinese. I think I understand what you're getting at but not sure. Are you HK chinese?? cuz China Chinese (to my understanding) have more prominent and distinct features. I find HK chinese girls (well most of them) are prettier.

They can be perceived as Oriental, but I would think that only the lighter ones would be. <--not meant to be derogative so sorry if it is.
Hey there guys, I'm hearing some new rumour that Cho Chang is actually Sirius Blacks love child! I don't know know who the f***ing hell started it all up, but it sure is attracting a lot of attention, and if you ask them, where is the evidence or proof of that, they will say that it is in their (Cho's and Sirius's)lability to look drop dead gorgeous, and also in their similarity of having black hair.
hi promisemeendless. No problem 🙂 you are quite right when you say that most Filipinos arent so oriental-looking - that is if you're referring to the classic oriental looks - light skintone & chinky eyes (hope this is not sounding like racial - no offense meant).
Besides, I didnt see the girls you saw so I really cant comment much.. its OK, Filipinos are so much a mix of many races - but majority of us are Malays - looking very much like Malaysians & Indonesians.. some look latin to latin-mediterranean, so on.. oh, well..
I just think that it is so cool of JK to give us Asians a chance. But whoever gets the role will have to realize sooner or later that she is going to be the official representative of Asians worldwide, not just her own country of ethnicity - its important that she has a great attitude - well, the pressure is on her! 😉
Hope that she will do good & that the British cast will appreciate her well.
