Being an extra

i want 2 be a extra in a harry potter film cos i cant act lol i live in the uk where is the auditons?

man, that would be fun! being an extra i mean! but i don't live in england... just in the plan US. darn it!

lol i cud be Dracos double ^^ i have the hair 😉

I wish I was draco best friend....hes hot!

apparently, they take kids from local British schools.

and they get paid 39 pounds.

hum dee ho.

maybe. but there were so many girls that i don't think they need to look at the things people sent in. and i think loads of people who sent stuff in went. anyway i could be wrong.

Hello i think their have been a miss understanding! What are you talking about i dont understand could you please explain what i did Auitsuki 🙁
i am really unhappy because i dont understand what you are trying to say

i heard that some schools took the money that extras earned. i thought that was well out of order...

i want to move too

It's funny how pivet drive house's have increased in value soooo much since they started filming Harry potter movies in them ^^

did you see the video of the auditions at mugglenet? the ones they interviewed didnt look so promising - i was straining my eyes out on the girls at the background who, IMHO, looked like they had more potential! i saw a lot & i was so happy that i saw so many pretty ones - i'm sure they'll get 1 great girl!

also that long interview with the father of one of the hopefuls who came from as far as Zachary, Louisiana (correct me if i'm wrong pls) i find it very heartwarming that a father could be so supportive of his daughter's dream - imagine all those things he had to do for her!

wa...me so touched!!
i meant...about the father!!

faint..i am waiting to see the video...

faint...i dont know why its so slow...

how long do i have to wait?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder why 😛

the father who came from Zachery, louisianna with his daughter did all of this stuff in vain. maybe he didn't know, but JKR specified that only BRITISH actors and actresses could be in the movies (with the exception of Fleur and Krum), even for the walk on parts. i think that rule stinks because i wanted to get a chance to be in a movie as a walk on part at least. well maybe in one of the last two books there will be a part for a caucasion american brunett girl with a slight texan accent.

But if she had an american character they would probably still be cast as a brittish person but with the accent. I like the rule because it means that the competition is smaller and the movies are more authenitic. Plus its something britains can be proud of!

O..plus its the complications of schooling and stuff. They can't afford to ship you over.

i'm sorry starseeker. why couldn't you go, miss unknown? at least you live in the uk. you still have a chance.

just because there was an open audition doesn't mean that all the letters that were sent to the casting director will be ignored, right? i hope they will still be taken into consideration. 🙁

I couldn't go because my dad didn't have the time to take me 🙁. I don't think I have a chance anymore since the auditions are over.

I hope they read all the letters too but as *Georgina_A* said there were thousands of people and I'm sure some of them would qualify as Cho so I doubt they would read the letters aswell as look through all the photos and forms.

i sent a letter nd they rang me back and said go to the auditions. so basically i think you either went and hav the small chance of getting the part or...sorry 2 be harsh in any way but no chance at all.

well, loads of people that did audition don't really have the best of chances...i mean in the end, there is only one girl that gets to play cho. and if it helps i think you are really pretty and would make a really good cho.

by the way i'm talking about miss unknown.
