Alright gotta lot of q's, so u don't have to answer them all at once.
First, could Fingolfin actually kill Morgoth, or was he doomed from the beginning.
Second, if he was able to him, what would have happened to Morgoth? Would his spirit go to the Halls of Mandos?
Third, I'm having a little trouble finding the descendents of Haleth, could u help. I'm trying to put togehter a family tree, so if u know any obscure reletive of Elrond, that would be great.
Sry I only have few minutes of internet time left here so I cant answer your questions ... @Pipfoot Il try to translate it as soon as i have more time (maybe tonight? dunno) @AgentElrond ok especially no time for long qs like yours 😛 but for the ages - before the sun, the time was counted in valian years and ?100 (not sure at the mo) valian years make one valian age... more than 30 of these (37? NO idea I dont have any references for the numbers here) had passed since the beginning of the earth until the sun came... btw, one valian year is nearly ten solar years so the three ages mustve been nearly 3000 of our years...
and bout the halethrim - I have the whole tree somewhere cuz im trying to learn it by heart but as I dont now it yet i cant help you at the moment... i think i can post a lil or give you a link today or tomorrow... you can also search in google for uum haleth +hunthor +manthor +hiril or something like that and then click the link that has the word "lalaith" in its adress (ehm thats a lil vague sry but I cant really think clearly at the mo lol stupid chinese music)

Ok just "bought" a lil more pc time.... so here some of the descendants of the house of Haleth:
Haleth was the daughter of Haldad; she herself doesnt have any children, but a brother, Haldar, whose son is Haldan; Haldan has a son Halmir who is the father of Haldir, Hundar, Hiril and Hareth.
Hiril weds Enthor and has a daughter Meleth who weds Agathor.; their children are Manthor and Hunthor.
Hundar is the father of Hunleth and Hundad the father of Hardang;
Hareth is the wife of Galdor of Dor-lomin; theyre the parents of Huor and Hurin who wed rian n morwen and are the fathers of Tuor, Turin, Lalaith n Nienor, s'easy to add the rest of their relationship.
Haldir now marries Gloredhel, their son is Handir who marries Beldis of Ladros and has a son Brandir (the lame whom Turin who obviously is related to him kills)
The last descendant of the house of Haleth dies in the year 500 of the first age n afterwards their land Brethil is ruled by "lesser men".
exa...blind guardian...thorn.....it totally rocks! 🤘 wow
*goes back to listening*
A black swan
Is born that night
The misty pond
(Has) got a new king
Got a new king
So what can we do
With our lives
When it all begins
It's hard and
It's cruel
Will grace die in pain?
Will light ever rise again?
I'm trapped in darkness
Still I reach out for the stars
I'm moving in silence
I leave it all far behind
chorus:
Oh at dawn
I'll face the edge of thorns
Oh at dawn
I'll pray at the edge of thorns
Oh at dawn
I'll face the edge of thorns
Let us march on
To the fields of sacrifice
(I'm) wondering why
I'll carry on
Will I betray myself
To rise
In the silence
It's time to explain
(And)
Search for truth in lies
Useful lies
Needless love's damned
What can we do with our lives
When it all begins
chorus
Come follow me
And you will see
How it will be
When all the pain is gone away
chorus
Let us march on
Though there's no hope at our side
Let us be brave
Though by glory we are denied
But
Don't you think
It's time for us
To bring to an end
Come play the song of death
The wisdom in us both
Will make it
Special guaranteed
Play the song of death
I'm lost in the depths of his eyes
I can't flee
Inner pain caused insanity
It's deep within
The fear and the hunger
Enslaved and denied
By my love and my enemies
I'm the illgotten son
@pipfoot
once you come, you'll want to stay
> Ae telich, anírathach darthad
welcome child, we welcome you here
do not run and do not fear
you understand, you know our ways
Come along, let us play
> “Mae govannen, hên, gen sí suilam
Ú-gello ah ú-osto
Heniach, istach baid vîn
Atholo teliad!”
(Im not quite happy with the last line... still thinking of better possibilities to express that)

– no, doubtful that he could have defeated him, let alone kill him. He was doomed from the beginning, but he was full of rage so he didn’t care about what is realistic and what isn’t... but still, he wounded Morgoth and woke doubts about his allmightiness.
Relatives of Elrond among the Halethrim? His great-grandfather Huor (I 444+472) was the son of Galdor (I 417+462) and Hareth (I 419-), the sister of Haldir (I 414+472), Hundar (I 418+472) and Hiril (?) and daughter of Halmir (I 390-471) the son of Haldan (I 366-451) son of Haldar (I 341+375) son of Haldad (I 315+375) who was also the father of Haleth (I 341-420) 🙂
What happen's to elves, men and dwarves when they die, and what ih the Hall of Mandros
Elves – as you said, they come to the halls of Mandos in Valinor where they wait until they’re reborn/revived in Valinor; but they will be utterly destroyed when the World dies as their love binds them to Arda
Men –
From the last paragraph of the first chapter of the Quenta Silmarillion:
"But the sons of Men die indeed, and leave the world; wherefore they are called the Guests, or the Strangers. Death is their fate, the gift of Ilúvatar, which as Time wears even the Powers shall envy. But Melkor has cast his Shadow upon it, and confounded it with darkness, and brought forth evil out of good, and fear out of hope. Yet of old the Valar declared to the Elves in Valinor that Men shall join in the Second Music of the Ainur; whereas Ilúvatar has not revealed what he purposes for the Elves after the World’s End, and Melkor has not discovered it"
From the Lost Road I think:
"And they knew that the fate of Men was not bounded by the round path of the World, nor destined for the straight path. For the round is crooked and has no end but no escape; and the straight is true, but has an end within the World, and that is the fate of the Elves. But the fate of Men, they said, is neither round nor ended, and is not within the World."
From... um, no idea where
"Thus everything dies, but only Mortals die forever, the others watch and wait eternally in the Shadows"
... eternally here obviously meaning as long as the world exists
Dwarves – no idea, I suppose they share the fate of Mortal Men and leave the World.

There are also several quotes that suggest that Men also go to the Halls of Mandos -
fx from the Sil:
Some say that they too go to the halls of Mandos; but their place of waiting is not that of the Elves, and Mandos under Ilúvatar alone save Manwe knows whither they go after the time of recollection in those silent halls beside the Outer Sea.
For the spirit of Beren at her bidding tarried in the halls of Mandos, unwilling to leave the world, until Lúthien came to say her last farewell upon the dim shores of the Outer Sea, whence Men that die set out never to return.

For Dwarves -
They live long, far beyond the span of Men, yet not for ever. Aforetime it was held among the elves in Middle-earth that dying the Dwarves returned to the Earth and the Stone of which they were made; yet that is not their own belief. For they say that Aule the Maker whom they call Mahal, cares for them and gathers them to Mandos in halls set apart; and that he declared to their fathers of old that Ilúvatar will hollow them and give them a place among the Children in the End. Then their part shall be to serve Aule and to aid him in the Remaking of Arda [!] after the Last Battle. They say also that the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves return to live again in their own kin and to bear once more their ancient names: of which Durin was the most renowned in after ages, father of that kindred most friendly to the Elves, whose mansions were at Khazad-dûm.

I'm sorry I couldn't send it via PM, but KMC doesn't allow that
Here your name in standard Quenya Tengwar
I tried several different fonts, imo the first one looks best,
But they all say the same.
As usually... here the used letters: yD5#ÌjY8
