Seriously. I am not rich by ANY stretch of the imagination, I barely make middle -class, LOL. Still, $15 a month as one of my few luxuries is easily affordable.
I think it is quite expensive. 15 a months + what the game costs, is too much for me at the moment anyways. I'd have to play a lot, imo, to make that worth it. Especially since you get games that came out around the same time for like 5 bucks now ermm
As a 79 warrior with "the Explorer" title and a flying mount in order for full access, I can tell you this:
If you are interested in the lore sides of Warcraft, this is the journey you should make in matter of questing (This including doing the questing achievements for each about to be mentioned zone to make sure you do not miss anything:
1. Howling Fjord
2. Coldarra (In Borean Tundra. Not whole zone unless your bored)
3. Dragonblight
4. Grizzly Hills (Optional, due to very little good lore interaction (although still existing). I skipped)
5. Zul'Drak
(Once 77) 6. Dalaran
7. Icecrown Glacier
This includes visiting:
- Utgarde Keep
- The Nexus
- Azjol-Nerub
- Ahn'Kahet
- Drak'Theron Keep
You will not only be 80 by the time you are done, but you will have had a lot of interaction with the Lich King, the dragon Aspects, numerous famous characters from the books and previous Warcraft games and has ALSO for the sake of getting a good touch of things experienced quests as you have never before seen them in WoW.
As a fan of lore, I ask you this: If you know any quests more than these that allow interaction with the various flights as well as Lich King, then feel free to add it as a quote to this message. For my sake and other lore interested people 🙂

No wonder why you quit.
Why's that? Because I'm a Hunter on my main? 😉
I actually like them better than most classes. For me, MMRPG's are just ridiculous time sinks, and one that I'm not willing to invest in unless it's worth it somehow. My sister and a few friends play, but on separate servers, and neither group is on enough for the social aspect of it to play into it much, which is the only part that really kept me to it. It's just hard keeping myself motivated without a discernible goal other than "level" and no real storyline to keep my interest from flagging.
I (correctly) knew that MMRPG's probably weren't my thing, but allowed myself to get talked into WoW. I don't regret it, because it was cool for a while and entertaining to be able to discuss it with friends, but I've about had my fill. I'll likely get WotLK from someone for X-Mas, though, so I may get pulled back in long enough to level to 80 if I'm lucky.
