It's just a hub for the Game Masters.
Here's some of what WoWWIki has to say about it: http://www.wowwiki.com/GM_Island
GM Island is a mysterious place designed to serve as a hangout for Blizzard's Game Masters. It is located to the far northwest of Teldrassil, surrounded by unmapped space between itself and the main continent, making it completely impossible — contrary to popular belief — to reach without exploiting.Although there are many rumors and exaggerations about GM Island, it is now simply a place for the game masters to login, logout, and then be able to teleport to some standard areas. GM's do not discuss the area.
The island is very small, with a mansion (using the model of the Stormwind City Command Center) surrounded by a unique wall and a graveyard. The island's design is similar to that of Theramore Isle.

Noob's not technically an insult, chomper, though you're clearly using it as one. Try not to throw it around so casually. Once or twice is one thing, but when it becomes a trend as it has in your posting, it can be considered continual insults, which is against the rules. Your attitude has been needlessly condescending more than once now, and the next time will result in an official warning.

I'm the noob lol.. thats why you're the one breakin your equipmentanyways.. its really not as bad as you're making it out to be.. whats the point of getting those cool items if you cant beat up another player with them?
then again, I played Lineage II for a year or two.. so I'm used to watching my surroundings
Originally posted by chomperx9I didnt call you anything.. but I did call you out on calling someone a noob when you've obviously got a lot to learn yourself

I'm on Detheroc.. so 1:1.7
That's a good site, though not always completely up-to-date. In general, Horde outnumbers Alliance on PvP servers, and vice-versa on PvE servers. Since the total numbers favor Alliance by a lot, the ratio is usually more lopsided on PvE. Finding a good balance is usually a good place to start looking.
Originally posted by SaTsuJiNyou've got plenty to learn as well the difference of leveling on a pvp server when you choose alliance. I'm guessing you only have one character.

I have the max amount of character slots filled on detheroc, on alliance (pvp)
my main is a paladin level 80.. my druids next highest at like 71 and change.. rogue and priest are 70 (havent touched them since I maxed them during BC). the rest of the slots are all around level 30 or below
alliance is my main faction.. and while I personally feel blizzard has geared their game balance / design around horde in prior times.. I feel that things are coming around to be fairly balanced as of late
I've tried to play horde, but its soo boring... and usually will only play a horde char if I know a few friends doing it as well (and they always get bored @ around 30 anyways)
I always roll PvP server... always...
Originally posted by Digii kept that quest item that turns you into a furbolg for 3 mins everyone always asked me to dance but there where never any moves for it which sucked.
Trees dancing is still win. Matter of fact, Druids in tree form doing pretty much anything is hilarious. One of my favorite raid moments is seeing our occasionally-laggy druid healer fail at Frogger every time and fall face first as he dies.
