Finally got BC and its friggin awesome. I made a Blood Elf Paladin and leveled him up to level 8 (almost 9) and IMO the starting area is probably one of the best in the entire game, next to Dun Morough* being my favorite. The racial abilities are cool too, the mana tap definetely makes being a paladin a more fun experience, considering you use it with nearly every enemy that uses mana. If anyone wants to play with me then I'm in the Alterac Mountains PVP server. 😎

I'm transferring my Shaman to a new server.

Everyone I know transferred something somewhere.

NEREVAR!

Hmm I just think they made a bad balance decision.. if they had balanced the game around 1v1 style pvp, I personally feel the battles would become more hectic. Alas, they designed it around 5v5 or something silly.

Questing wise, I'm having a blast because I really haven't had to officially quest til this point

so how does everyone plan to gather the cash for the regular flying (800g) and epic flying (5000g) mounts ? 🙂

My friend got his character up to a 64 and said that he already got an extra 500 gold... so I doubt its going to be a problem

Yep, I'm level 65 now and I have 600g, I started with 40 when I got the expansion.

You get tons of money basically handed to you in outland, from quests, drops that you can sell at the AH or vendor, and cloth. I'll be able to buy the normal flying mount by the time I'm 70, as far as the epic one, I probably won't get it.

I saw the epic one is 280% flying speed compared to the normal (60%).. so I might use the normal one as a means to get the epic, considering that I wouldnt have to pay another gryph taxi as long as I'm in outland

TBC instances are really good, and the pvp is also alot better now the 1 shooting days are over cause of all the stamina which is just wonderful, I was never a good gold keeper im already down to 10g at lvl 70 again 🙁 got me the normal mount which will be good til I get my 310% speed arena drake 😄 oh thats gonna be fun with the paladin crusader aura and the new speed trinket with good old carrot on a stick if it stacks 😛

lol you actually think your going to get the arena drake, i dont bet my money on getting my hands on a normal netherdrake....nor a epic mount, they cost far more than ill prob make....and you hav to be champion of the server for that season, its going to be difficult if theres determined, TS guys who play it 24/7

My friend made 2000g in one Saturday night from selling Crusader enchants alone, and this was before the expansion came out, mind you. If that's possible, then getting a 5000g mount with all the new professions and trades is likely too.

Finally, first epic world drop!

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"

I've been on the server for almust 2 years, I know the server and which players are the best pvp'ers, furthermore I know which arena teams will be up aswell, and there is only one other team then the one we got that is anyware close to what we can offer, not lost one single arena game since tbc and not lost one at lvl 60 past 500 games. we have been practising since we all got lvl 70 , we've got everything ready tbh, gear, tactics, teamplay and all, the other team which I mentioned got good players but they aint prepared as we are, so what I said was mearly a realistic assumption 🙂 I'l be sure to post you screenys of me drake when i get it 🙂

In WoW Time > Skill, even if you guys never lose, if another team plays more than you, and thus wins more, they will probably make greater progress.

Basically why only a few people on a server of tens of thousands were Rank 14 before the new honor system came out.

Yes.

It certainly wasn't because they were skilled. In fact, most of them are shit players, from my experience.

It was about 1,000,000 HP per week to progress to rank 14, I think.

I can barely pull 70,000 in a day.

ok.. I dont understand this...

you need expert riding skill to obtain a flying mount... but you require the riding training before that?...

how exactly does a paladin go about purchasing a flying mount, when I've not had to buy any riding training up until this point?

is the flying mount riding skill a seperate skill from the regular animal riding training?

yeah, look go to Wildhammer Stronghold in shadowmoon Valley, talk to the NPC near Sky'Ree, and you buy the gryphon Riding Skill for 800g, now after that you can buy the normal gryphon for 100 g and you can go flying.
