I've done a total of one since being 70, hated it.
I did a lot of them on my rogue before battlegrounds existed, because I had no choice.
Now with battlegrounds, arena, and things that I enjoy, I have no reason to grind instances for the hope of a chance of something not sucking dropping from some boss that has a 85% chance to drop something that isn't useful to me.
I hate instances so much. I ran Stratholme like 50 times as my rogue for Baron's cape, the one that gives agility. It finally dropped and some paladin won the roll.
Gave up instances at that point.
I totally understand, tahts the crappy parts of instnces. And it really takes a decent guild to get a good group.
All i gotta say is the netherstorm instances are awesome if you can get a good group along with the Caverns of Time which are really easy. You would love Old Hillsbrand if you love WC3, you can visit the inn with a bunch of NPCs taht you will automaticalyl recognize hehehe.

I quit WoW.Way too boring at 70, and too time consuming.
i agree in that last part, i would not say boring so hard, not if your guild is often raiding, then its quite fun imo, but the drag does slowly go on, and the bills keep going up for the paying of it, and in the end i end up not playing what ime paying for, i cant stay on the same game for constant hours
my group did old hillsbrad and got to the last boss n died lol (that epoch hunter thingie).. and that was cuz the waves of mobs was at a pause so we all sat n drank, then all the sudden we got washed over with another wave -,-
it was only the 2nd time thrall died at that point, but everyone was too tired cuz it was like 3am.. so we went to bed instead 😛
it was quite a fun instance
