"Well see, my parents had some of their friends over and they brought their son so I had to talk to him and you know." Sonia said.

Had Maik remembered how to show emotion. she would have smiled then, but instead she hid it. Then something occured to her. Sonia knew about Alex. She had to. She hadn't even twitched when Elrohir mentioned him before and she hadn't asked about him either. Maik's brows contracted in anger at the thought of Elrohir going behind her back like that. "What do you know about Alex?" She asked Sonia

"T. . .that he was a close friend, and t. . .tha he was killed by d. . .death eaters." Sonia said noticing the angered expression written on Maik's face. "A. . .Am I not suppose to k. . .know?"

"Is that all Elrohir told you?" Maik asked, glaring at the foot of her bed. She'd managed to keep it a secret for two years, and he had blurted it out to the first person he meets. But then, maybe he thought she needed to know. especially since it involved her parents.

Sonia nodded. "Don't be mad at him Maik, Please. He worries about you and so do I."

Maik couldn't argue with that. How irritating. "He didn't tell you anything else?" She asked Sonia. Surely he had told her about her parents.....

Sonia shook her head "I mentioned my parents though."

"And what did he say?" Maik asked. She was beginning to think that Elrohir hadn't told her.

"Just that he didn't think it was them, and that I would never become like them." She said looking at the floor.

Maik looked at her in surprise. Elrohir had told her that? That was so like him, always looking out for everyone. "That's all he told you?" She asked.

Sonia nodded. "I'm sorry, if I overstepped my boundaries"
