Sonia shook her head. "Why? What do you know about my parents?" she asked more interested now then ever.

that meant no, obviously. Maik suddenly regretted bringing up the subject in the first place. "I need to contact Elrohir." She said quickly and jumped off the bed. Maybe she could just dodge the question.....

Sonia sighed. Looking at the floor she started. "You don't want me to know?" she whispered sadly.

Maik swallowed and looked around nervously. "Well, I..it's just..." Maik was spared making an answer then as an owl collided with her head. Sh etook the message from it and read it quickly.

Sonia sighed and turned her back to maik and faced the wall. She knew something was up and that Maik wasn't talking. She sat silently wishing her parents were there.

"We need to leave. NOW." Maik said, grabbing her cloak. She looked over at Sonia and paused for a moment. "Look, I'll tell you everything about your parents after I deal with Caldwell, ok? Suffice it so say that your parents are innocent and there are only two people in this world who can prove it. The murderer himself, and the auror who witnessed it."

"Yu?" Sonia asked as she got up ready to follow Maik. Her lue eyes bruned with intensity.

"I'll tell you after." Maik insisted and stomped out the door.

Sonia hung her head. She had made Maik angry again. Reluctantly she followed. "Okay." she whispered.
