Morgan blinked. There where swirling lights everywhere, and out in front of her was a highway of stars. It was a highway of stars. somewhere up ahead was a wall of portals, she remembered. She had to get back to Courtney. The future depended on it. once she started walking, did she remember about the hand that had grabed her. Spinning around, Morgan saw nothing except light and stars. Then she smilied, recognizing what was missing. "Hello, Athorin." said Morgan aloud, and out of thin air, stepped a boy her age, with sandy hair and brown eyes. "Hi, Morg. I've been waiting for you." he said. Morgan smirked. "So are you going to help me? You do owe me after I saved your life." Athorin shrugged. "I'll help, but I want to know what this is about." Morgan raised her time turner on her neck so that it caught the light. Athorin's eyes grew wide. "So. Let's go. What are we waiting for?"
Ahtorin opened a portal next to him. "1st, let's see the changes u've made." he said, and led Morgan through the portal. Every 1 Morgan had see b4 the Timeturner was there, even Courtney. But she was missing, and noboy in the room seemed to notice that a boy and girl had just walked into there midsts from thin air. "can they see us?" asked Morgan tentivly. "Nope. Just watch and learn." sdaid Athorin contently. "No, thor, I need to go back to Courtney!" contradicted Morgan angerily. "No, u need to wathc, first. Just wait. Courtney can wait. just watch, and learn." coaxed Ahtorin, and Morgan slowly fell under the spell. " Just........wait......Courtney.........watch.....yes..." she mumbled, as she stood, helpless, and lost in time, completely under Athroin's control.
Elrohir walked back to the house with Sonia. He found Maik just where he had left her, with Descartes. She was looking particularly smug and there was a checker board inbetween them. "Maybe this isn't such a good idea." Elrohir whispered "I can't remember the last time she was in this good a mood. I REALLY don't want to make her angry"
Morgan felt like a prisoner in her own body. she couldnt move herself, or say anything, only watch through the 2 large windows that were her eyes. she had to do something. then she realized. She might not be able to do something, but someone else could, if she could only contact them. She would have to communicate telepathicaly. but to whom? Three people who could handle any danger, of course. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.....
Hermione sat in a couch in front of a blazing fire, reading casually. Harry and Ron cheered on there chess peices as the sat sprawled on the harth. Crookshank's tail twitched as he watched the small pieces charging at eachother on the board. Suddenly, Hermione sharply looked up. "Morgan," was all she said. both boys looked up at her, even the chess pieces stopped. "And Athorin, something about Athorin, he's doing something." she added. "Where?" Harry asked. "At a house somewere, invisible to the untrained eye. She says it's the residence of a Courtney." said Hermione, consentrating. "Courtney? Isn't it that girl, in Slytherin, who's had a run in with Fudge?" said Ron, thinking hard. "Maybe. We should go." said Harry, and he checked his pocket to see if his wand was there. it was. "All right! Let's hit the road!" said Ron, pleased. they rushed out of the room, contacting to Morgan via Hermione.
The threesome ran, guided by Hermione, who was following Morgan's instructions. soon, they stood in front of a large portal. "You first." guestured Ron, smirking. Hermione and Harry walked through easily, then Ron followed suit. They entered the same sparkily highway. "Wow. The Highway of Stars! I always wanted to learn more about it. Only Merlin and a small few famous wizards have ever visited here!" whispered Hermione, completely in awe. "Uh-hu. so what are we doing here again?" said Ron, unimpressed. "Morgan says, they went through a portal near here. 4 steps over, 8 steps across." said Hermione, calculating. Harry walked froward, then murmered the number of steps under his breath. "Somewhere here." he said, pointing in front of him. "No, here." corrected Hermione, pointing a few inches off to the left of where Harry had pointed. Ron made a face, mumbled something like, "Smartalek", and walked over to them, as Hermione opened the portal. "Ready?" she asked. The boys nodded. "Let's go!" said Harry, and walked through.
Athorin spun around at the sound of three people. No. Morgan couldnt have called 4 help...could she?
Morgan sighed with relief inside herself. very soon now, everything would be OK.
Harry was the first to spot the two. but somehow, other people spotted him. a shout came out in amazement and fury, "Hey! who are you, and why are you here!?" It had come from a boy who sat in front of a chess board, still being pelted by the pieces by a girl who sat across from him. what was Harry to say? He looked back at Hermione and Ron for help. Ron raised his hand, seperated the middle finger from the ring finger, ans said, "Greetings, Earthlings!" Hermione put her head on her hand in exasperation. Boys!
Maik spun around and sprang to her feet. "HARRY POTTER??What are you doing here?!" Whatever good mood she had been in had quickly dissapeared. She looked livid as she glared down at harry and the other two, her eyes changing to a shade of red again. Potter had a talent for going after death eaters and other people he deemed as criminals. People like herself and the Huberts.
Harry spluttered, trying to find words. Hermione took a stand. Athorin glowered. He would leave as soon as the foolish group of heros moved away from the exit. "Uh, we mean u no harm." Hermione tried, unsure if it was safe to trust these people. Ron wrinkled his nose, then shook his head. It was a waist of time. Morgan was deeply hoping that at least Harry, Hermione, and Ron wouldn't move from the exit.
