"As long as you'd like." Descartes says.

SOnia smiles. "There's this great place about twenty miles behind our house. Completel seclusion from the world.

"Would a week be ok?" Maik asked. A week seemed enough time to get over everything.

"Maik would like that, I think. It's just a matter of convincing her to go." Elrohir replied. he mulled it over for a moment. "How does this tie in with Descartes?"

Sonia shrugs. "I know that he would suggest it probably."

"Perfect." he says smiling. his eyes sparkling.

"So, we shall set this plan in motion then." Elrohir said, rising to his feet. "Will you be allright if I leave?"

Maik handed Descartes her coffee cup, not knowing what else to do with it, a blsuh creeping up her ears. "Thanks. For everything. I need to take care of some things first, but i think I'll go to your dad's place tomorrow, if that's ok."

Descartes nods. "Of coarse." he says blushing too.

Sonia bit her lip. "I guess." she says.

Maik smiled slightly and waved goodbye to Descartes. She started heading back to her apartment, vaguely wondering if she could leave her cat with Elrohir for a week.

"You guess? I can stay longer if you really need me to." Elrohir suggested. He didn't want to leave yet, not if she wanted him to stay.

"I don't want to seem clingy." she said. "but i'm more at ease in your presence." she says before realizing what she had said and blushing deeply.

Descartes stared after Maik.

"If it really makes you feel better."Elrohir replied, feeling his ears going red. "I can stay as long as you like." He pulled his chair next to the bed and sat down again.

Halfway down the street Maik realized Elrohir had no idea what she was doing. Swearing softly she turned back to St. Mungo's, hoping Descartes and his parents hadn't left yet. Maybe she could still leave a message with them.

Descartes stood outside taking a long drag. He needed a good smoke.

Sonia smiled. "You're hott when you blush like that." now it was her turn to blush. Had one of the nurses given her truthfulness potion?

"Descartes!" Maik said in surpsrise "You're still here. Good. I need you to tell my brother something, when you see him." She wrinkled her nose slightly as the cigarette smoke, but didn't say anything.

Elrohir felt his ears get even hotter. Somthing he hadn't thought was possible. "Thanks." He grinned. He sneaked a look at his pocket watch and showed it to Sonia. "You need to go to sleep."

Sonia sighed. "True." she says slipping under the covers and sliding dow so her head was on the pillow.

Descartes blushed and with a small poof the cigaerette was gone. "Sorry, Nasty habit I picked up being atround Muggles so much. What may I help?"

Elrohir reached over and pulled the covers up to her chin then settled back in his chair. He sat with his arms folded, waiting for Sonia to go to sleep.

"I was wondering if you could inform my brother of my vacation plans, when you see him." Maik asked "He is still here, isn't he?"

Descartes nods. "Still with my sister." he says smiling. "I would love to deliver your message to him."

It didn't take Sonia long to fall asleep. She was physically and emotionally exhausted.

Maik smiled "Thanks. I was wondering something...Why are you helping me?" She kicked at a rock in the strret absently "I haven't exactly given you any reason to."

Satisfied that Sonia was asleep, Elrohir slowly relaxed, his head nodding on to his chest.

"Well, you haven't exactly given me a reason NOT to help you either." Descartes says flashing his famous, brilliant smile.

Maik laughed at that. "I guess not. And just how long have you been practicing that smile of yours?"

Descartes laughed softly. "Not sure, why? DO you like it?"

"Love it." Maik replied "I think you can keep it."

Descartes smiled. "Then I will smile more often for you."

"Glad to hear it." Maik replied, smiling in kind. "I better get going. I need to pack and stuff..." She added "I'll see you later?"
