"Thanks." Descartes says. "Although I'd have to say if my instincts are right, you're the same way."

"What do you mean?" Elrohir asked, his ears going red again.

Descartes smiled. "Sonia." he says softly.

Elrohir grinned sheepishly. "Allright, I've give you that one."
He glanced back at her for a moment. "You don't mind, do you?"

"Mind what?" Descartes asked. "You and my sister? No, of coarse not."

"She, uh, asked me to stay. If you don't mind.." Elrohir added. "That's why I was in there.."
His hand went back to his lips again, still not sure if he had Sonia's lipstick on his lips.

Descartes laughed softly. "What's wrong?" he asked shiftly.

"Nothing." Elrohir said quickly. "I think I'll go get some coffee."

"Okay, but she doesn't wear lipstick." Descartes says. "It only looks like it."

"I didn't think she did." Elrohir said. "Not that I was looking.."
He took out his pocket watch and checked the time to avoid Descartes' eyes. "I'm going to go get that coffee now.."

Descartes chuckled. "It's perfectly okay." he says. "Do you like yours like your sister does."

Elrohir laughed, relaxing slightly. "No. Noone can drink coffee like Maik does. I just like mine black."

Descartes nods. "I'll go get it." he says.

"Thanks." Elrohir said. He leaned back to see if Sonia was still sleeping.

Sonia stirred slightly in her sleep. Turning on to her side she groaned.

Elrohir's brow furrowed slightly with worry and he laid a hand gently on her forehead.

She was slightly warm but she sweated profusely from the nightmare she was having.

Not sure what else to do, Elrohir kept his hand on her forehead as he bent and whispered softly in her ear hoping to abate the nightmare.

Sonia calmed down a little. A nurse passing by shook her head. "Poor thing."

Elrohir watched Sonia for a few moments more, then resumed his position in the chair by her bed. He decided it was best for him to stay until morning afterall.
