The Yule Ball

Elrohir took a step closer. "Please stay Sonia. At least let my try to help you."

Sonia nodded. "FIne."

Elrohir amiled. "Allright. How about we go back to St. Mungo's."

"No!" Sonia pulled back. "Never."

"What do you want me to do?!" Elrohir cried with frustration. "How am I supposed to help you?"

"I can't go back! They turned me in!" Sonia says on the verge of tears. "I can't go to the ministry. I'll go crazy in azkaban."

Elrohir sighed and put an arm around Sonia, trying to calm her. "I won't let them take you to the ministry, I promise. Just stay there until Maik or your brother gets back allright?"

"Maik's on vacation!" Sonia says. "And my brother won't be back until he's sure she's scomfortable. I can't go back. I will truly be put in Azkaban now. I didn't mean to start the fire."

" I guess you're right." Elrohir admitted. "But you have to stay somewhere."

"I know." Sonia says leaning into his slight embrace.

Elrohir rested his head on hers and put his other arm around her. "Well, since Maik is on vacation, why don't you just stay at her place until she gets back?"

Sonia blushed slightly. "Okay, sure."

"Good." Elrohir smiled. "Let's go then."

Sonia nodded and let Elrohir lead her. "I am so, so very sorry."

"I know." Elrohir said softly as they left the alleyway. He hailed a cab and scooted to the far side to make room for her.

Sonia slid in and shut the door. She elaned back and breathed deeply.

Elrohir reached over and squeezed her hand slightly. "Everything wil be fine, you'll see."

Sonia looked at Elrohis. "Thanks."

The cab came to a stop and Elrohir jumped out and held the door open for Sonia. "Here we are."

Sonia got out after thanking the driver. She thanked Elrohir too. "You sure she won't mind."
