Sonia bit her lip. "Sooo, how are we going to get our siblings together?"

Elrohir thought about it for a minute. "Well, sending her on vacation to your house wasn't such a bad idea."

"If she still wants to go, I'm sure the offer is till open."

"I think she will." Elrohir replied."She still really needs a vacation. Especially now."

Sonia nods. "A vacation away from me and anyone associated."

"Just a vacation from...everything." Elrohir replied

Sonia laughed. "Sounds good to me." she says. "But unfortunately, I can't."

"What's stopping you?" Elrohir asked curiously

"Responsibilities." Sonia says blushing.

Elrohir paused for a moment and pushed the button for the crosswalk. "Responsibilities? Like what?"

"I duno how to explain it." she says rubbing the back of her head. "We, my parents, Descartes and I, live in a very high society. It is expected that I find a suitor, and so far no luck, yet."

"Oh...." Elrohir said, not really knowing how to respond to that. "I don't exactly move in that sort of circle...didn't know you had to..."
He broke off and started crossing the street.

Sonia hangs her head in shame. Stuffing her hands in her pocket she felt her heart sink.

Elrohir suddenly realized he had made a grave mistake. He stopped and took hold of Sonia's hand again."Why is it so important, finding a suiter I mean?"

Soni blushed. "To be the proper wife. . .it's hard to explain."

"You'll find someone, don't worry." Elrohir said in what the hoped was a reassuring way.

"Yeah, I will. Thanks." she says blushing.

Elrohir looked around and found that they had reached her house. "Well...thanks for letting me walk you home.."

"Thank you for accompaning me. Would you like to come inside for a drink or something to eat?"

"I'd love to." Elrohir said with a smile.
