Maik looked at her pocket watch. "You're right. I'd better get home."

Descartes leaned in gently kissed her on the lips. "Good night and safe trip home."

"I'll try." Maik smiled, returning the kiss. She turned and started towards the door, slipping her helmet back on as she went.

Descartes watched her with a goofy grin on his face.

Maik went out to where she had left her motorcyle and brushed the snow off it, glad that Mr. Hubert hadn't asked about it.

Darius smirked as he watched Maik leave. His plan was in motion.

Maik kicked her motorcycle into life and drove away from the Hubert's mansion, sneaking one last glance back at it before turning a corner and losing sight of it. Hopefully her parents wouldn't care that she was going to her apartment instead of their house.

Shall we skip ahead?

yeah

So, do dee dum, Descartes and Sonia were sitting in a small restaurant eating. They were talking about the days events.

Elrohir stormed into Maik's office and pointed a finger accusingly at her. "You told dad about Sonia! Why did you do that?!"
Maik threw a wad of parchment at him without looking up from her copy of the daily prophet. "Because he asked, you dolt."

(Family despute)

"You told dad to put the charm on me." Sonia said with an angry look. "Why? I don't but into your business."

"Because you're younger" Descartes shrugged. "And i love you."

"You got me in trouble!" Elrohir fumed. "You know how much he dislikes Darius."
Maik calmly turned a page in her paper, still not looking at Elrohir. "He would have found out eventually. Besides, as you say, he dislikes Darius, not his children. So you have nothing to worry about."

Sonia then clenched her fists and dumpers her hot choco on Descartes lap before dashing out the door.

"I'm going out for lunch." Elrohir grumbled, and left Maik's office, slamming the door behind him. Hopefully the resturant he liked wouldn't be too crowded.

SOnia was running down the opposite side of the street from the one Elrohir was on.

Elrohir looked up and suddenly noticed Sonia running down the street opposite him. "Sonia!" He yelled, ignoring the strange looks people were giving him. "Where are you going?"

Sonia came to a skidding stop. She spun around. "Elrohir?" she wan to him quickly hugging him.

"Anything the matter?" Elrohir asked, putting his arms around her.

"Just my brother being a bloody jerk." Sonia said sighing.
