"I could never think badly of you." Elrohir assured her. "Please tell me what's going on."

"I got really mad at Descartes and actually spat at him."

"What made you so mad?"

"yes what she said..What made you so mad?"

( 😑 )

Sonia looked up and blinked at the stranger. Like always she quickly withdrew into her shell. "Uh, nothing."

Elrohir suddenly had the incredible urge to whack his head on the table. Every time he got close to getting her to talk something threw it off.
"Look, we'll talk about it later ok? I have to get back to work or I'll be late."

Sonia's eyes kinda widened then got misty. She nodded before hanging her head. "I understand." she whispers.

Elrohir gently laid his hand on hers. "You want to walk with me? We could talk on the way."

Sonia looked at Elrohir's hand. "Uh, um, sure."

Elrohir withdrew his hand and put some money on the counter for the waiter. He hopped off his stool and waited for Sonia, checking his watch to make sure he wasn't late yet.

Sonia slid off her stool. She bid the stranger farewell before joining Elrohir.

"So what's going on?" Elrohir asked after a few minutes of walking.

"It's hard to explain." Sonia says barely audible. She plays with her fingers twiddling them.

"Just do your best." Elrohir suggested. "Take your time."

"Well, I'm not sure exactly where and how it started, all I remember is him saying something like you would turn us all in." She blushed softly.

Elrohir frowned. "Turn you all in? For what?"

SOnia shook her head. "I can't tell you. I would kill to do so, but everything would be taken wrong."

"I"m not one to jump to conclusions." Elrohir told her, looking slightly hurt. "Don't you trust me?"

Sonia bit her bottom lip. She gently pulled him into an alley. After making sure no one followed, she turned towards Elrohir. "Please, I've never told anyone this only my mother and brother. DOn't react on it, because it could just be my imagination. If I tell you, you have to promise me that no matter what, you willl not tell anyone else." Her eyes were misty and she was obviously emotional.
